BUMAT 2017 – The Bharati Vidyapeeth University (BVU) has released the Bharati Vidyapeeth Undergraduate Management Aptitude Test (BUMAT) result 2017. The BUMAT 2017 was held on June 04. The test was held in a paper-based mode for admission to the BBA programmes of the various Institutes affiliated with BVU. The result is available online in the form of a merit list which provides, the names of candidates who are shortlisted for the counselling rounds. The counselling rounds will be held from July 01 and will conclude on July 07, 2017. Only the candidates whose names are in the merit list and can participate in the counselling rounds.

BUMAT Eligibility Criteria 2017
Before applying for BUMAT 2017, all the aspirants must make sure that the below-listed eligibility criteria are met by them.
- A candidate should be an Indian National. He/she should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any statutory board situated in India.
- The candidates who have appeared at the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply provided they complete their examination including practical Examinations, viva / assignments on or before the day of admission to the institute of their choice. Such candidates will have to produce marks statement at the time of admission.
- All such candidates will be provisionally admitted until the other necessary certificates in original, are submitted to the institute. If certificates are not submitted by the said date or the eligibility is not granted, the admission would automatically stand cancelled.
BUMAT Application Fee 2017
The candidates are required to pay Rs. 1000 irrespective of category one belongs to. This fee is non-refundable and can be paid online using Credit/Debit or Internet Banking. Also, the candidates can pay the fee via DD. The DD can be made from any Scheduled Bank in favour of “The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University” payable at Pune.
The candidates eligible and desirous of seeking admission to BBA Programme are required to submit the Application Form, duly completed. The candidates can access the BUMAT 2017 application form by accessing the direct link given here in the article. The candidates are required to fill in details like personal, contact, educational, upload photograph & signature in the form.
Along with form, the candidates are required to pay requisite application fee using any of the available modes. The completed Application Form along with fee payment must be sent to the address given below either in person or through Post / Courier.

BVP University will be issuing the BUMAT 2017 admit card to all the provisionally registered candidates. The Admit Card for BUMAT 2017 will be available online at the official website of the University for the candidates to download. It will be sent through email also to all the candidates. The admit card will indicate the details of the candidates such as, Roll Number, Test Center allotted, complete address of the test center, name, photograph etc. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam center or write the exam, in case he/she will fail to furnish a valid admit card. Also, the candidates must note that if they don’t receive their admit card, then they must contact their nearby center, 1 day before the date of the test for collecting a duplicate admit card.
The test aims at assessing the abilities of the candidate to understand the subject problem and to apply prior knowledge for problem solving. The paper shall have a total of 200 objective type questions. Each question will have 4 alternatives and one shall be correct out of these. Duration of the test is 2.5 hours (10.00 AM to 12.30 PM). There shall be no negative marking in the paper. A total of 4 sections will be there in the test, the details of which are as follow –

The result for BUMAT 2017 has been declared will be available on the 3rd week of June. The University will declare merit lists of regular merit category and Foreign/NRI/PIO/OCI/Management merit category. The result along with the merit list will be declared online. The BUMAT Result 2017 wil display at all the Institutes of Management of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University and on its official website. The candidates who will be listed in the merit list will be able to participate in the counselling. Individual invitation for participating in the counselling will not be sent by the authority. The candidates shall be required to see their merit number and appear for the counselling at the centre of his/her choice as per schedule.
BUMAT Exam Centers 2017
The test will be held at 13 cities across India. While filling the application form, the candidates are required to fill the test center, from where they would like to appear for the test. The list of BUMAT Exam Centers is as follow –

As per the merit list, the candidates will be required to participate in the counselling. A candidate will have to choose the programme during the counselling and spot admission session. The counselling and on the spot admissions session will be held at all the centres. However, a candidate desirous of seeking admission to the Institute at Pune centre can appear for the counselling at the Institute of Management & Research, New Delhi also. The candidates will be required to bring following certificates in originals along with 5 self-attested copies each of the same at the time of counselling.

- Character Certificate form the Principal of the School/college last attended
