IGNOU OPENMAT XLI held successfully today, on February 05, 2017 by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). IGNOU OPENMAT is held twice a year for admission to the Management Programme like MBA, DIM, PGDIM, PG Diplomas in HRM, FM, OM, MM and FMP. The IGNOU OPENMAT 2017 (XLI) was held in pen-paper mode, where the candidates were required to mark their answers in an OMR sheet. They marked their answers using an HB pencil. Thousands of management aspirants wrote the test, which was held in a single shift, from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM. Only students who were able to furnish the IGNOU OPENMAT XLI hall ticket were allowed entry into test centre and permitted to sit for the exam.
The difficulty level of the exam was moderate. Total 200 multiple choice questions were asked in the test. 3 hours were given to the candidates for attempting the exam. The candidates were required to mark one correct answer out of the given 4 choices. The question paper was set up according to the IGNOU OPENMAT 2017 exam pattern.
There were 4 sections from which the questions were asked, which are as follow –
- General Awareness – 30 questions were asked from this section
- English Language – 50 questions were asked from this section
- Quantitative Aptitude – 50 questions were asked from this section
- Reasoning Ability – 70 questions were asked from this section
The IGNOU OPENMAT 2017 result for XLI will be declared within 6 to 7 weeks from now, probably by last week of March 2017. The result will be announced online and based on this result, the eligible candidates will be offered admission to MBA programmes of IGNOU. After the announcement of XLI result, all the qualified candidates will be required to submit the application form for taking admission to the course. Along with this application form, they will be required to enclose their IGNOU OPEN MAT 2017 score card, identity proof and other relevant documents. This form must be submitted between November 30 to May 31, 2017.
