All the candidates must go through the IGNOU OPEN MAT 2017 Exam Pattern for better preparation. The exam pattern has not been changed since years now and this year it will be on the similar line. The aspirants should ensure that they have in and out knowledge of the pattern as it helps in having better understanding of the syllabus and topics to be studied. Also, one can easily have an idea about the number of sections, types of questions, duration and marking scheme etc., by analyzing the test pattern. IGNOU OPENMAT 2017 Exam Pattern 

IGNOU is the most renowned name of India. It offers high-quality teaching with ODL (Open and distance learning) facility. Exam pattern refers to the format followed by the authority in the examination. The candidates are advised to prepare for exam keeping the entrance exam pattern in mind. This will keep them focused and lead to comprehensive preparation. 

OPENMAT exam is divided into four sections.

Sections are as follow – 
General Awareness
Quantitative Aptitude

  • There are 200 MCQs of one mark each.
  • Every correct answer is rewarded with 1 mark.
  • Remember that negative marking is not included in OPENMAT examination.
  • OMR sheets must be filled by only blue or black ball point pen as per the Exam Pattern of IGNOU OPENMAT 2017 Exam.
  • Duration of 3 hours is provided in order to solve the questions.
  • Every section contains a different number of questions.
