IIM Lucknow Admission Criteria 2017 – The admission policy for PGP, PGP-ABM and PGP-SM for IIM Lucknow has been announced. The candidates writing CAT 2016 can check the qualifying CAT 2016 cutoff, weights assigned for academic profile, work experience, gender diversity and other admission norms here on this page. CAT 2016 is scheduled to be held on December 4, 2016. The eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the PI & WAT process on the basis of their CAT 2016 score, previous academic performance and other norms. IIM Lucknow will announce the PI shortlist and the same will be provided here on this page for easy access of the candidates. For PGP-SM, minimum work experience of 24 months is also required. IIM Lucknow Admission Criteria 2017-19

IIM Lucknow will adopt a three stage selection procedure, which is as follow –

  1. Initially the candidates will be shortlisted for the PI process based on their CAT 2016 percentile

  2. WAT & PI will be conducted

  3. Based on the performance of the candidates in WAT & PI rounds and after taking into consideration other parameters, a final merit list will be prepared. According to this list, final admission will be offered.

Shortlisting for the WAT & PI Process – IIM Lucknow Admission Criteria 2017-19

It is imperative for the candidates to obtain equal to or more than the minimum CAT 2016 cutoff in order to be considered for the PI shortlisting. This minimum percentile is often misunderstood as the actual IIM Lucknow 2016 Cutoff. However, the official cutoff of IIMs is never officially announced and it remains on a higher side as compared to this minimum cutoff percentile.

WAT & PI will be conducted for all the shortlisted candidates in the month of February 2017.

Merit List Preparation – IIM Lucknow Admission Policy 2017-19

In this step, the candidates whose marks are more than the cutoff will be arranged in a merit list and will be called for the next rounds. The next rounds will be Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

The merit list for this step of Admission Criteria of IIM Lucknow 2016 will be generated as per the weights allotted as per table below.

IIM Lucknow Admission Criteria 2017 – Final Selection

Based on the performance of the candidates in the WAT and PI rounds, they will be given points as per the total weights assigned to each attribute.
A candidate’s final score for selection in PGP/PGP-ABM/PGP-SM programme for the batch 2017–19 will be calculated on the basis of the assigned weights, which have been tabled below.

NoteEvery candidate needs to secure at least 12 marks out of 40 in the Personal Interview Round to qualify it.

IIM Lucknow Admission Criteria 2017 – Final Step

  • The last step of the admissions process is to generate the final offer cum admission list by combining the marks in each stage of admission.

  • The final admissions will be done as per the merit listing done with the Grand Total (C).
