IIM Udaipur Admission Criteria 2017 – IIM Udaipur has announced the admission policy for 2017-19 admission. This will be the 7th PGP batch and the batch size is likely to be around 240. The candidates writing CAT 2016 can check the IIM Udaipur Admission Criteria 2017-19 here on this page. The minimum CAT percentile which is the qualifying percentile has remained the same. All the students aspiring to pursue management course from IIM Udaipur must obtain equal to or more than this qualifying percentile to be considered for the PI shortlisting. CAT 2016 is scheduled to be held on December 4, 2016. The eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their CAT 2016 percentile and their overall profile. IIM Udaipur Admission Criteria 2017-19
The 9 IIMs (IIM Amritsar, IIM Bodhgaya, IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Rohtak, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Trichy and IIM Udaipur) have decided to adopt a common process of WA&PI to be coordinated this year by IIM Rohtak. The admission process will comprise of the following stages –
Shortlisting of the candidates for the PI process based on their CAT 2016 percentile
PA process will take place then. The PA process will be common to all the 9 IIMs, namely, IIM Amritsar, IIM Bodhgaya, IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Rohtak, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Trichy and IIM Udaipur.
Merit List will be prepared on the basis of CAT score, PI & WA score and Profile score as indicated in following tables.
In case any of the older IIMs (Bangalore, Calcutta, Indore, Kozhikode, and Lucknow) will be willing to share their WA & PI score with the 9 IIMs, the common candidates who have applied to new IIMs, will not be required to appear for WA & PI process separately. The common candidates will be intimated the names of older IIMs sharing WA & PI scores with new IIMs.
IIM Udaipur Admission Criteria – Eligibility to get shortlist for PA process
The table below lists out the minimum CAT 2015 percentile for IIM Udaipur. The candidates obtaining equal to or more than this score will only be considered for the WAT & PI shortlisting. The Institute will decide on the IIM Udaipur 2016 Cutoff, which will be quite high as compared to this qualifying percentile. This cutoff will be applied and various other parameters will be taken into account for shortlisting the candidates. But the candidates must note that meeting the minimum CAT 2016 cutoff will not mean that they will surely get a call from the institute as IIM-U will take into account various other factors also while shortlisting the candidates for PI and WAT.

IIM Udaipur Admission Criteria 2017-19 – Norms for Preparing Merit List
After the completion of WAT-PI rounds, the merit list will be prepared as follow –
CAT Score – 55%
Personal Appearance (WAT – 6% & PI – 15%) – 21%
Profile (Academic Profile: 8%, Work Experience: 6% & Diversity: 10%) – 24%
The CAT Score would be used and not the CAT Percentile.
The candidates who will not obtain certain minimum scores in the WA & PI would not be considered for the merit list. The minimum scores would be decided by IIM Udaipur at its discretion.

2. IIM Udaipur Selection Criteria 2017-19 – Reservation Norms

3. Final Selection – IIM Udaipur Admission Policy 2017-19
A candidate receiving admission offer from IIM Udaipur and accepting the offer within the stipulated date will be required to send along with Offer Acceptance an Offer Acceptance Amount of Rs.50,000/-. If a candidate wishes to withdraw the seat, then he can withdraw it in the given time period and the Offer Acceptance amount will be refunded after a deduction of Rs. 1000/- as processing fee. But if the candidate withdraws after the given or mentioned deadline, then there will be no refund.
