But this year, it has got back to DTE Maharashtra’s CAP for selecting eligible candidates and to allot them with admission to MMS/MBA program for academic session 2016-18. JBIMS Mumbai has an intake of 120 seats for MMS. The candidates belonging to NRI, Foreign National category will be able to seek admission on the basis of their GMAT Score. Eligibility Criteria for JBIMS MMS Admission 2016
The eligibility conditions to apply for MMS program are as follow –
- The candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging Maharashtra State only).
- The candidates pursuing final year of their graduation can also seek JBIMS Admission 2016. Such candidates can be considered for provisional admission subject to producing valid proof of them passing their graduation exams with the requisite marks.
JBIMS 2016 Selection Criteria
The candidates interested in seeking admission at JBIMS, they will have to participate in CAP 2016. After the declaration of MAH CET 2016 Result on 29 March 2016, cutoff will be released. DTE will most probably conduct the MAH CET Counselling 2016 in the month of June 2016. It will be releasing the notification and other details regarding the Common Admission Process 2016 soon after the announcing the result.
If a candidate will score 153 out 200 in MAHCET 2016, it would mean that he has obtained 99 percentile and can easily get admission in JBIMS. However, for being a 100 percentiler, the candidate’s score should be around 163 to 165. The admission in JBIMS for 2016-18 session will be done based on the MAHCET 2016 percentile score and not on raw marks, hence it is necessary that you score high in each section apart from scoring high percentile overall.
The shortlisted candidates will be called to attend Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. The selection criteria for shortlisting candidates depend upon various factors. A combination of these factors will be used to determine the eligibility of candidates to be offered final admission. Test scores are not the only criteria for selection. A high MAHCET score does not guarantee a call for GD/PI. Some of the factors are as follow –

- Quality & content of the answers in the application form
