Karnataka PGCET MBA Eligibility Criteria 2017 Details

KPGCET exam is held in the first week of July. Only those candidates who fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria can apply for Karnataka PGCET MBA exam 2017.

For Full Time MBA Courses

  • The candidates must have completed the graduation degree of minimum 3 years duration.
  • The candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the examination (45% of marks in case of SC/ ST candidates).

For Part Time MBA Courses

  • The candidates must have completed the graduation degree of minimum 3 years duration. 
  • The candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the examination (45% of marks in case of SC/ ST candidates). 
  • The candidate must have worked for a minimum of three years in an organization which is situated within a distance of 40 km from the college in which the candidates are seeking admission.

It is important to note that only Karnataka candidates are eligible for reservations. The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear in KPGCET exam 2017.

Karnataka PGCET MBA Eligibility Criteria 2017 For Government Seats

The candidates who are seeking admission to MBA programme under Government seats through KEA must produce the documents proving that they are Karnataka candidates. A candidate will be considered a Karnataka candidate only if-

  • He/ she has studied in a Government or Government recognized educational institute for not less than 7 academic years. 
  • He/ she must have passed SSLC/ Class 10 or 2nd PUC/ Class 12 exam in an institute which is recognized by the government.

The candidates who are eligible for the exam can fulfill the Karnataka PGCET application form 2017 online. The candidates must also upload the scanned images of the photograph, candidate signature, candidate left hand thumb impression and parent signature.
