Karnataka PGCET Seat Allotment 2016 – The final and last round of counselling is being conducted by KEA. The seat allotment result of final round counselling will be published on October 4, 2016. This list will be available online and the candidates will be able to access the same here on this page. The seat allotment is an online process which takes place at every stage of the counselling. The candidate wishing to participate in the final round of counselling can fill the options from October 1 to 4, 2016. After the declaration of the result, the candidates who will be satisfied with the allotment will have to confirm the allotment, pay the fee, download their admission order and report to the allocated college. Karnataka PGCET Seat Allotment 2016
The seat allotment for every round is processed in online mode only. The seat will be allotted depending on the priority of options filled by the candidates as per their merit/rank and seat matrix issued by the Government of Karnataka. The General & Reserved category seats under the Government seats will be allotted to candidates belonging to Karnataka only. However, the General category seats under the Management Seats will be allotted to both, Karnataka and Non-Karnataka candidates.
Note – As the allotment process is all in online mode, the Unique Keyword consisting of eight alphanumeric characters as printed on the Verification Slip (received after document verification) must be used for logging in on the official website.
Karnataka PGCET Seat Allotment 2016 – Complete Process
The following procedure will be followed for KPGCET 2016 Seat Allotment –
Mock Seat Allotment Result – It is declared at the conclusion of every round of counselling but before the final seat allotment result of that respective round. This result furnishes the college and course allotted to the candidates as per the options filled. It will help the candidates find out their standing based on their merit and as per the options. The candidates will be able to change the options filled by them after release of this mock Karnataka PGCET Seat Allotment Result.
Editing the options – The candidates will get a chance to edit the options filled in by them at every round of Karnataka PGCET 2016 Counselling.
Final Seat Allotment – At various stages, the computerized Karnataka PGCET Seat Allotment will take place. The seats accepted at one stage will not be available for the further stages. This way the seat allotment will be processed at various stages. Once this allotment process will end, the final seat allotment result for every Karnataka PGCET 2016 Counselling round will be declared.
The final seat allotment list will be published on the official website of KEA. The list will be available at the helpline centres too. However, the candidates will be informed of the individual allotment via SMS and email also.
Reporting at the college – The candidates satisfied with the allotted seats must report to the college to claim the seat allotment. Such candidates must download the fee challan, pay the prescribed fee at the specified bank and download their admission order thereafter. They must report to the allocated college on or before the last date mentioned in their respective admission order. Also, they must immediately login using their Options Entry Login Id and inform to KEA that they have joined the college.
Note – If a candidate fails to report back to KEA that they have joined, then seat allotment for that candidate will be cancelled even though they would have physically joined the college.
