RRB NTPC 2016 : The First Stage Computer Based Test Result of RRB NTPC has been declared. The result has been announced for all the regions. The first stage CBT result has been hosted here on this page. Qualified candidates of first stage CBT will appear for the second stage CBT. The exam for the second stage CBT is expected to be conducted in January/February 2017. The Railway Recruitment Board had conducted the first stage CBT from March 28 to May 3, 2016. The exam is being conducted for 18, 252 vacant seats in Railway Department. The posts under RRB NTPC 2016 recruitment exam are Commercial Apprentice, Traffic Apprentice, Enquiry cum Reservation Clerk, Goods guard, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Clerk Cum Typist, Assistant Station Master, Traffic Assistant and Senior Time Keeper.
As per reports, 92 lakh candidates have attempted the first stage Computer Based Test of RRB NTPC. An approximate number of 3 lakh candidates will be shortlisted through the first stage CBT. A total of 20,000 candidates will be called for the Skill Test and 50,000 candidates will be called for the Aptitude Test.
The candidates on the basis of their marks in the second stage CBT will be called for the next level of recruitment. The second stage CBT test will include General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning. There will be 120 Multiple Choice Questions in the exam.

RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria 2016
Applicants must fulfill the following conditions to be eligible to apply:
- Educational: Candidates should possess the requisite educational qualification from the recognized University, Board/Institute. Also, Typing proficiency in English/ Hindi on Computer is essential for the applicable post. Refer the notice for more details.
- Candidates awaiting their final examination results can not apply
- Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18-32 years as on 01 January 2016. Age relaxation is applicable up to 5 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC, 10 years for Pwd (UR), 13 years for PWD (OBC), 15 years for PwD (SC/ ST) as per the Government rules.
RRB NTPC Application Form 2016
Application Fee : The fee of Rs. 100/- is to be paid either via internet banking, Debit Cards etc. or by way of Challan to be deposited in any branch of SBI or Computerized Post Office Pay-In-Slip.
Fee-exempted : SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen/ Persons with Disability/ Women/ Minorities/ Transgender and Economically Backward Classes with annual income less than Rs. 50000/- are exempted from fee payment.
The online computer based exam be objective based exam comprised of multiple choice questions from General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning. Total number of questions will be 100 to be completed in the duration of 90 minutes. The question paper is available in the following 15 languages – English, Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Konkani, Odia, Assamese, Bengali, Manipuri, Malayalam & Urdu.
The e-admit card of the candidates has been uploaded on the official website of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). A link is also provided above to access the admit card. Candidates will also be notified through SMS and email messages. Candidates will be required to take the print of their admit card and bring the same along with them to the respective exam centre.
Candidates are required to secure the minimum score out of 100 in order to pass the RRB NTPC Computer-Based Test. The minimum score is referred as the cut-off which varies for the different categories.
