BHU LLB Merit List 2017 – Around the 2nd week of MAY, BHU will conduct the UET for admission into the LLB programmes of the University and the result is expected to be announced around the 2nd week of June 2017. Along with the result, the University will also release the BHU LLB 2017 merit list. The name, qualifying status and rank of the shortlisted candidates will be provided on the merit list of BHU LLB 2017. About the BHU LLB Merit List 2017
As mentioned above, the merit list will be available with the BHU LLB result 2017. Just like the result, the BHU LLB 2017 merit list will be available online. The merit list for BHU LLB is being prepared according to the eligibility of the candidates and their scores in BHU UET 2017. The candidates whose names are in the merit list of BHU UET LLB are only eligible for the counselling round. The merit list will be available only in PDF format and the candidates are advised to download the same and keep a copy.
Tie-Breaking method for BHU LLB 2017
The candidates will be shortlisted according to their scores in BHU UET LLB 2017. However, if two or more candidates obtain equal score in the test, then the following methods will be used to break the tie –
- The candidate with the highest mark in the qualifying exam
- The candidate who is senior in age will be given preference for admission.
Note: The Banaras Hindu University will notify the candidates of their scores, rank and overall merit through the registered email and mobile number.
BHU LLB Counselling rounds
The candidates whose names are being furnished on the merit list are eligible to participate in the counselling rounds. These candidates are required to fill in the Preference Entry form and follow the procedure to participate in the counselling rounds. The candidates who have successfully participated in the counselling rounds and have fulfilled all the criteria will be allotted seats.
