CLAT 2016 Cutoff – The candidates appearing for CLAT on May 14, 2017, must make sure they score the minimum cutoff marks of the test. The candidates can refer to the CLAT Cutoff 2016 provided in this article to estimate the cutoff of the various participating Law Schools. Only the candidates obtaining the minimum CLAT Cutoff scores will be shortlisted for the counselling rounds of the National Law Universities (NLUs). There is a total of 18 NLUs and each of them will have their own cutoff scores. The application process has commenced and the last date to apply is March 31, 2017. This year, Chanakya National Law University, Patna will conduct CLAT 2017 across 63 test cities. The candidates must note that the CLAT committee won’t be announcing any cutoff score. CLAT 2016 Cutoff
For several years, the National Law Universities keep the cutoff scores similar, therefore, candidates can go through the cutoff scores of CLAT 2016 to estimate the expected cutoff scores. Based on various factors, these cutoff scores of CLAT 2016 was prepared. The candidates are required to score the minimum cutoff marks to get shortlisted for the pre-admission rounds. These shortlisted candidates must participate in the counselling rounds to complete the admission procedure.

Factors affecting CLAT 2016 Cutoff
As mentioned above, each NLU will have their own cutoff scores and will vary from each other. While deciding the cutoff scores, the following factors will be considered –
- The level of difficulty of the test.
- Total number of seats available.
- Highest mark scored.
- Average marks of the test.
- Total number of applicants appeared for the test.
