CLAT Result 2017 – The CNLU, Patna will be conducting CLAT 2017 on May 14, while the result is scheduled to be announced on May 29, 2017. The CLAT 2017 result will be available online and the candidates can access the same from this article. To access the result of CLAT 2017, the candidates are required to log in with their CLAT 2017 credentials. The CLAT score card will be furnishing the candidate’s score and rank. On accessing the score card of CLAT, the candidates are advised to download the same and keep a copy of it. The entrance test will be held across 65 cities and the candidates can apply for it until March 31, 2017. From this session, the Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), has joined the league of the NLUs and will be accepting CLAT score 2017. Steps to download the CLAT Result 2017
With the release of the result, the candidate can visit this article to download the same. In order to access the CLAT scorecard, the candidates can follow the steps given below –
- Click on the link provided in the article.
- The candidate login page will appear. Here, the candidates are required to enter their email ID & password and click on login.
- Now, click on the result tab.
- On accessing the result cum scorecard, the candidates are advised to download the same and keep a copy of it.
The CLAT 2017 Scorecard will furnish the following details of the candidate –
- Father’s name.
- Roll number.
- Application number.
- CLAT score.
- All India Rank.
- Category Rank,
- NRI Rank.
- NRI Sponsored Rank.
CLAT tie-breaking method
In the case of any two or more candidates with equal score in the CLAT result, then the following procedures will be applied to break the tie –
- The candidates with higher marks in the Legal Aptitude section of CLAT.
- Candidates with higher age will be given more priority.
- Random draw of lots by computer.
CLAT Cutoff Scores
The cutoff scores for CLAT will be released by the various Institutes accepting the CLAT score. The cutoff marks are the minimum scores that a candidate must score to be eligible for the pre-admission process of the Institutes. These Institutes will have their own cutoff scores, thus, the marks will vary from each other. For years, the cutoff marks remain almost the same, therefore, the cutoff marks for this year also is expected to remain somewhat closer to each other.
