Details of CLAT Syllabus 2017

The syllabus will furnish the various topics and sub-topics of the test. It must be noted that the CLAT 2017 Syllabus varies every year. The exam will contain a total of 200 questions and these questions will be divided among 5 sections. The candidates can also prepare according to the various sections of the test. The various CLAT 2017 Sections are given below.

English with Comprehension – This section will contain questions that will challenge the candidate’s knowledge of the English vocabulary, proficiency and reading skills. General Knowledge & Current Affairs – As the name of this section says, the questions in this section will be based on the general awareness. To prepare for this section, the candidates can go through books based on the national and international events. Also, the candidates are required to be aware of the latest happenings in various fields. Some of the topics that the candidates can prepare for this section are provided in the table.

Elementary Mathematics – This section will contain questions based on the topics covered during the Class 10th and 12th. To prepare for this section, the candidates can go through the Mathematics books of 10 and 12th classes. For this section, the candidates are required to practice the topics as much as they can. Logical Reasoning – The questions in this section will be based on the logical sequences, syllogism and analogies. Here the candidates are required to identify the patterns, logical links and correct the illogical arguments. The various topics that the candidates can cover in here are –
