Eligibility Criteria for CUSAT CAT LLM 2017

In order to take admission in the LLM programmes of CUSAT CAT, the candidates must make sure that they fulfill the eligibility norms of CUSAT LLM. The eligibility criteria are the minimum criteria that a candidate must meet to take admission. If the candidates fail to meet any of the norms, then their candidature will be cancelled. Before applying for CUSAT CAT 2017 LLM, the candidates must make sure that they meet the following norms –

  • A Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognised University.
  • They must have a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying exam.

Application Fee for CUSAT CAT LLM 2017

However, the application fee for the reserved categories i.e. Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Class will be less than that of the candidates belonging to the Open Category.

Last year, the application fee for CUSAT CAT 2017 LLM was Rs. 1000/- while for the candidates applying under the reserved categories the fee was Rs. 500/-

To pay the application fee for CUSAT CAT, the candidates can opt for the online or the offline mode of payment. Through online mode, the candidates can go for Net Banking, Debit/Credit card. For offline mode, the candidates can make the payment via the Challan.

Reservation Norms of CUSAT CAT LLM 2017

A total of 10% seats is are reserved as All India Quota, while the remaining seats are being reserved for the candidates who fall under the Keralite category. The reservation details of the seats for CUSAT CAT LLM for the candidates falling under the Keralite category are given below –

Test Locations for CUSAT CAT LLM 2017

The entrance test for CUSAT CAT LLM 2017 is expected to be held around the last week of April 2017. The test will be held in online mode across the all the district headquarters of Kerala. The details of the venue of the exam will be mentioned on the hall ticket of CUSAT CAT LLM 2017.

CUSAT CAT LLM 2017 Admit Card

The hall ticket for CUSAT CAT Law is an important document and the candidates must make sure that they carry the same on the day of the test. The candidates failing to produce the hall ticket to the exam invigilator will not be allowed to write the exam. The CUSAT CAT LLM admit card will be available online around the 3rd week of April 2017 and the candidates can download the same from here. The candidates whose application forms are being rejected won’t be issued the admit card.

The exam body won’t be sending any hall ticket for CUSAT CAT LLM 2017 to the candidates via post.

Exam pattern of CUSAT CAT LLM 2017

The CUSAT Common Admission Test for admission into the LLM programmes will be held in a paper-pencil mode. The test will be divided into two parts, which are –

  • Part 1 – Proficiency in English, Analytical & other abilities and General Knowledge.
  • Part II –Proficiency in the related subjects.

The candidates will be given 2 hours time to complete the test.

Result for CUSAT CAT LLM Result 2017

The University will release the result for CUSAT CAT LLM around the last week of May 2017. The result will be available online and the candidates can access the same by clicking on the sub-heading above. To check the result, the candidates are required to enter their exam roll number and then click on submit. Admission into the LLM programmes will be solely based on the result of CUSAT CAT LLM Result.

CUSAT CAT LLM Cutoff 2017

The cutoff scores for CUSAT CAT LLM are the minimum scores that a candidate must score in order to take admission into the postgraduate law programmes of the test. Details about the cutoff will be available online after the release of the result and the candidates can check the same here. The CUSAT CAT LLM 2017 cutoff scores are expected to remain similar to that of the previous year. The candidates scoring the minimum cutoff marks will be eligible to take part in the counselling rounds of CUSAT CAT LLM.

Counselling rounds for CUSAT CAT LLM 2017
