No entrance examination will be held by the state of Goa. All admissions will be done through counselling sessions held by the admission committee of Goa MBBS Admission 2017. Goa MBBS 2017 Eligibility Criteria
The applicants have to fulfill all of the eligibility criteria set by the admission committee of Goa MBBS Admission 2017 to be able to participate in the admission procedure. All of the criteria mentioned below has to be fulfilled by the applicants.
- Age: The applicant should have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2017.
- Nationality: Admissions are open to all Indian nationals. NRI holding Indian passports are also eligible along with Overseas Citizens of India and Persons of Indian Origin.
- Education: The applicant should have passed 10+2 standard examination of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English.
- Qualifying Marks: General category applicants should have secured 50% marks as an aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2 examination. Reserved category applicants should have scored 40% while applicants belonging to the PH category should have secure 45% marks.

The state of Goa offers reservation of seats to some categories. The applicants can apply for reservation based on their category and provided they have the certificates and documents to prove their category.

Goa MBBS 2017 Application Form
The application form of Goa MBBS Admission 2017 will be available tentatively from the 3rd week of June, 2017. The Directorate of Technical Education will release the application form online. The application form has to be filled in offline and mode and submitted at the office of the admission committee. Failure to submit the application form will lead to the disqualification of the application form from the admission procedure.
The applicants will be able to access the application form tentatively from link provided in the article (the link will be updated as soon as it is released). The application form has to be downloaded and printed out. The applicants will have to fill in all the required information regarding his/her personal, contact, educational and qualifying information by hand in the application form. A photograph will have to affixed to the application form. The required application fees will also have to be paid through a demand draft payable in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji. The filled application form along with the demand draft and other documents has to be submitted at – Directorate of Technical Education, DTE Building, Alto-Porvorim Bardez, Goa – 403521.

The application fees of Goa MBBS Admission 2017 will have to be paid by all applicants through a demand draft payable in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji. If the applicant fails to pay the required application fee, then his/her application form will be rejected.

Goa MBBS 2017 Merit List
The admission committee of Goa MBBS Admission 2017 will declare the merit list in offline mode. The merit list will consist of the names and ranking of all applicants who are eligible for the counselling session. The rankings are based on the scores of the applicants in NEET 2017. Only those applicants whose names are present in the merit list will be called in for counselling. If a situation arises when one or more applicant has the same qualifying marks, then the preference will be given to the applicant who is older in age.
Goa MBBS 2017 Counselling
The Directorate of Technical Education, Goa will be the conducting body of the counselling of Goa MBBS 2017 Counselling. The counselling session will be held in offline mode. The applicants who have qualified for counselling will be allotted seats and given admission into the medical and dental institutes of Goa.
The applicants will be called in for counselling according to their ranking in the released merit list. Every applicant has to be present physically. Seat allotment will be done based on the applicant’s preference and availability of seats in the institute. After being allotted, the applicants will have to report at their allotted institute for document verification and payment of fees. The admission will be confirmed only after this process will be completed. A second round of counselling will also be held in case there are vacant seats still left. The entire process will be the same as the first round.
