Eligibility Criteria of KIIT MBBS Admission 2017

It is mandatory for the candidate to meet the specified eligibility criteria set by the university for MBBS and BDS courses. Candidate must check the Eligibility Criteria given below in the table before applying.

  • The candidate should be of 17 years (lower age) as on December 31, 2017.

3. Education The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination (higher secondary examination) or equivalent from a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
4. Qualifying Marks
  • General Candidate must obtain minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
  • For SC/ST category, candidates must score minimum aggregate of 40% in PCB with English.

Application Procedure for KIIT MBBS Admission 2017

The Application process for KIIT MBBS 2017 will tentatively start from the month of July 2017. There is no Application Fee for the KIIT MBBS Admission 2017. Candidates may apply online or download the Application form for the KIIT MBBS Admission. Candidates will have to send the filled in form to the University along with the specified documents. Candidates can check the following steps to fill the Online Application Form.

  1. Candidates must click on the link provided to access the KIIT MBBS 2017 Application Form.
  2. Read the instructions carefully to fill the application form.
  3. Candidates have to fill in their personal, academic, address details such as Name, Address, Email ID, Date of Birth, Details of qualifying examination, Marks obtained in percentage (%) in class XII examination etc. along with the NEET 2017 scores.
  4. Review the application form before submitting.
  5. Candidates must take a print-out of the KIIT MBBS 2017 Application Form and check the registration number printed on it.
  6. They must paste their passport size colour photograph in the space provided for it.
  7. The printed application form should be signed by the candidate and their parents in the particular space provided for it.
  8. Candidate need to send the form along with two passport size photographs pasted in appropriate place, 10th class pass mark sheet/certificate and NEET scores to the address given below.

Merit List of KIIT MBBS Admission 2017

The merit list for counselling process for KIIT MBBS Admission 2017 will tentatively be declared in the month of July 2017. The merit list will be released by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on the basis of NEET scores. The candidates who have appeared in NEET 2017 entrance examination and have secured the minimum required percentile will be called for counselling process. The merit list will be different for each of the reserved category like- General, OBC, ST, SC and Physically Handicapped.

Counselling Procedure for KIIT MBBS Admission 2017

Candidates who have successfully scored the minimum qualifying marks in NEET 2017 will be called for counselling process for KIIT MBBS Admission 2017 on the basis of their Merit Rank. The counselling sessions will be conducted by KIIT University.

The merit list of the candidates will be released and shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling process and allotment of seats. The seat allotment will be based on the merit list released by NEET and counselling process. Candidates have to attend the counselling sessions as per the schedule announced by the University.

Candidates must attend the counseling in person along with their original documents. Verification of documents will be done at the time of counselling /admission. Following are the list of documents candidate need to bring with them during counselling process:

  • NEET Admit Card
  • NEET Rank Card
  • 10th Pass Certificate
  • 12th Mark sheet and Certificate
  • Relevant Reservation Certificate
  • School Leaving Certificate
  • Counselling fee of Rs. 10,000/- is included in Tuition Fee of Rs. 75,000/- which has to be deposited by the candidate in the form of Demand Draft in favor of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar.

Failure to furnish any of the relevant documents will lead to disqualification of the candidate.


Seat Allotment

The seat will be allocated to the candidates after successful document verification. Seats will be confirmed after the payment of fee. The seats will be allotted to the candidate on the basis of NEET score, Reservation and Category. It is mandatory for the candidate to attend the counselling session in person. Any request in change in counselling date and time will not be entertained.


Reservation of Seats for KIIT MBBS Admission 2017

Out of total seats, a number of seats will reserved for the candidates belonging to reserved categories. Reserved candidates have to submit their valid official certificates to confirm their category while filling the application form and during the counselling process.

The reserved seats are distributed among different categories of candidates are as follows. A separate merit list will be prepared for each category.
