Odisha MBBS Admission 2017: The state of Odisha has scrapped off their entrance examination since 2016 and will be conducting admissions through counselling. Odisha MBBS Admission will be done based on the applicant’s NEET ranking and eligibility. The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Committee will be the conducting authority of Odisha MBBS Admission 2017 and will consist of the following members – Chairman OJEE, Vice-Chairman OJEE, Secretary OJEE and other members. The eligibility criteria of Odisha MBBS Admission 2017 will be set according to the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee. It is necessary for all applicants to fulfil the criteria in order to get admission into the medical/dental institutes of Odisha.

Application Procedure of Odisha MBBS Admission 2017
The applications for Odisha MBBS Admission 2017 will be available online tentatively from the 3rd week of June, 2017. Applicants will have to fill the application form very carefully and in detail to be considered for the counselling process. Filling up of the required information will have to be done and applicants will have to make sure to keep the registration number/application number safe as it will be needed for a lot of purposes. Uploading of documents will have to be done by the applicants according to the criteria prescribed by the committee. Finally payment of fees will have to be done along with submission of the application form. Applicants will have to make sure to complete all required details as incomplete application forms will be disqualified.

Merit List of Odisha MBBS Admission 2017
A merit list of all the applicants qualified for the counselling procedure of Odisha MBBS Admission 2017 will be released online by the OJEE committee. Odisha MBBS Admission 2017 Merit List will be released tentatively in the 4th week of June, 2017. The merit list will be made by selecting applicants who fulfil all of the eligibility criteria set by the state and have filled in the application form with all the required valid information. Instructions regarding the counselling session will be notified to the applicants online and they will have to report at Nodal centre for document verification and counselling.
Counselling of Odisha MBBS Admission 2017
All applicants will have to register themselves to be qualified for the counselling session. If registrations are not done or the application form submitted is incomplete, then the applicant will be disqualified from the counselling session. Before reporting to the counselling venue, the applicants will have to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 1000 either through offline (Demand Draft in favour of “OJEE-2017″ drawn at any scheduled bank, payable at Bhubaneswar) or online (Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card) mode. Selected applicants will have to report at the Nodal Centre for document verification.
The verification of documents will be held tentatively in the 5th week of June, 2017 and will be held at Nodal Centres. Each applicant will be allotted to different Nodal Centres where they will have to go through document verification. Proof of counselling fee payment along with the required documents will be verified and a document verification slip will be given to the applicants. 10+2 examination marks of the applicant will also be entered into the system at the nodal centre. The applicants will have to bring the following original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopy.

After selecting all preferences, the applicant will have to enter the One Time Password (OTP) sent to their registered mobile number in the prescribed text field. This finally leads to the final submission of preferences will be made. All seats will be allotted strictly on the basis of merit & choice.
