Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reopened the NEET 2017 application window for the candidates who are 25 years and above as per the order of the Supreme Court. NEET 2017 registration window is functional from March 31, to April 5, 2017. The apex court has scrapped NEET 2017 upper age limit which was 25 years previously and directed CBSE to provide an opportunity to the candidates to register for NEET 2017. As per the notice released by the CBSE, unreserved category candidates who are born on or before May 07, 1992 and the candidates of SC/ST/OBC born on or before May 07, 1987 can also apply. Interested applicants can access the link provided on this page to register for NEET 2017. This must be noted that the registration is window is open only for the candidates who are 25 or above. Applications below the specified age will not be accepted.
Aadhaar card has been made compulsory for all the candidates for NEET 2017 registration. CBSE specified in the notice that rest of the NEET 2017 eligibility conditions will remain same. The application fee of NEET 2017 for General/OBC is Rs. 1400 and Rs. 750 for the SC/ST/PH category.
Apart from this, the notice also mentions that the candidates who have applied offline for NEET 2017 are directed to apply in the online mode. The demand draft of application fee given to the CBSE by such candidates will be refunded by post at the address given in their offline application form. If NEET 2017 application form is not submitted in the online mode, the candidature will not be considered by the CBSE.
National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 is being held in the pen paper mode on May 7, 2017 across the 104 cities in India. A total number of 11,35,104 candidates have already registered for the NEET 2017. Due to the high number of registrations CBSE has to increase the number of exam centres from 84 to 104 . NEET 2017 admit card will be available on April 15, 2017 in the online mode.
