Salient Features of AP SSC Result 2017

  • AP Board 10th Result evaluates the performance of the candidates in terms of grades* obtained by them in each of the subjects – both theory and practical.

  • The result gives an excellent opportunity to the students to excel in their career as on the basis of this, they can choose the stream of their choice in class 11th.

  • The physical copies of the certificate cum mark sheet are issued to the candidates by the board, usually one month after the date of online declaration of the AP SSC Result 2017.

  • The students can get these documents by visiting the school of their enrolment and signing the acknowledgement register, which is kept at the school premises.

  • In order to pass the AP SSC Exam, a candidate must obtain minimum marks which are fixed by the Board, i.e. 40 marks.

  • The above table shows that both the overall pass percentage and the boys’ and girls’ pass percentages have been increasing over the years.
  • The girls have outperformed the boys during all these five years, though marginally only.
  • The total number of students who appeared for the exam has been inconsistent. In the year 2013, it declined by around 73, 500, it increased by around 54,000 in the year 2014, while in the year 2015 it again reduced massively by 2,87,000 and finally in the year 2016, it once again increased by around 58,000. Let us hope that this positive trend will continue in the AP SSC Result 2017.
