Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in India is managed by various public and private board that can be at State Level of National Level. These boards hold a responsibility to render quality and basic education to students. The level of student’s knowledge will be tested through a managed examination process from the release of date-sheet till the declaration of the results. The subsequent procedure will be followed every year.

All the central as well as state boards follow the pattern of 10+2+3 for education wherein 12 years of study is completed from school and 03 years of remaining education will be completed in universities. This pattern made as per the advised of the Education Commission (1964–66).

An apex body, National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) deals in resolving curriculum related matters for school board. In addition, it provides technical assistance and support to a huge number of schools in India and oversees. Other bodies that participate in school education system of India are:

CISCE (State Government Boards): It conducts 03 examinations, called as, ICSE-Class/ Grade 10 (the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education); ISC – Class/ Grade 12 (The Indian School Certificate) and CVE – Class/Grade 12 (the Certificate in Vocational Education).
NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling): The board organizes two examinations, referred as, Secondary Examination and Senior Secondary Examination at All India Level and also few courses in Vocational Education.
International schools that are affiliated to the Cambridge International Examinations and/or the International Baccalaureate Programme.
Islamic Madrasah schools, can be autonomous or local state government controls the processing of boards or affiliated with Darul Uloom Deoband.
Some autonomous schools such as Woodstock School, Auroville, Patha Bhavan, The Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education Puducherry, and Ananda Marga Gurukula are also available in India.
National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA) and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) are authorized for the teacher accreditation and management of the education system.
CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) is the renowned central board, with a head office in Delhi, known for its excellence in education and perfectly structured process, which will be accessed on time, every year. Lakhs of schools around the world are affiliated from this board and the examination process is same in all its affiliated schools. State Boards in India such as Punjab Board, Haryana Board, Bihar Board, UP Board and more perform the similar functions but at state level. Schools of particular state are affiliated to the respective state board. Every, state has its own board which is accountable for conduction 10th and 12th level examination with complete process.

For all board examination, date-sheets are released in month of January/ February, on yearly basis whereas the examination will held in month of March/ April. The procedure for conducting board exam, subjects, syllabus and the difficulty level will be decided by the respective board.

School Board Result is announced at two stages i.e. Intermediate and High School. The result of the board examination for both stages is likely to be announced in month of May. We will provide the result of every board on our portal, keep checking the article for latest updates.
