Previous Years’ Statistics of the Telangana SSC Result

The table given below shows the overall pass percentage as well as boys’ and girls’ pass percentage in the Telangana SSC Result in the years 2015 and 2016.

 The above table shows that both the overall pass percentage and the boys’ and girls’ individual pass percentage increased in the year 2016 as compared to that of in the year 2015. The overall pass percentage jumped from 77.56% in 2015 to 85% in 2016, i.e. an increase by 7.44%. The boys’ pass percentage increased from 76.11% to 84.7%, i.e. an increment of 8.59%. The girls’ pass percentage increased from 79.04% to 86.57% in 2016, i.e. it increased by 7.53%. Besides, as per the nation-wide trend, the girls have outshone the boys both in 2015 and 2016, by around 3% and 2% respectively. However, the number of students appeared in 2016 reduced marginally by around 4,000. It is expected that the rising trend of pass percentage will continue in the year 2017. The Board will take all necessary steps to ensure that the Telangana SSC Result 2017 is declared in a free and fair manner.

About the Telangana Board of Secondary Education (TBSE)

Telangana Board of Secondary Education was constituted on 2 June 2014 and has been regarded as the State Government Board of School Education since then. The headquarters of TBSE has been made in the Hyderabad city. The Board gives affiliations to state government schools and numerous private schools in the state. The Board usually issues date sheet one month before the start of the exam. The directorate of Government Examinations is an independent and impartial agency that functions under the ministry of Secondary Education, Telangana Government. Every year, the Department conducts the SSC/OSSC Public Exams and a number of minor exams in the state.
