All India Management Association (AIMA) has conducted the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) paper based test on September 3, 2017. The exam was held across 36 cities from 10 am to 12.30 pm. The online exam of MAT 2017 was conducted on September 9. MAT 2017 result and scorecard is expected to be declared in the last week of September. MAT cutoff will be released by the participating institutes in the first week of October 2017. Over 123 management institutes will accept MAT September scores for offering admission to post graduate programmes.
MAT September 2017 carried 200 objective type multiple choice questions on Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment. Each question in the exam carried one mark.
Candidates can check their MAT September result by their entering roll number, form number and test month.The scorecard will display sectional and composite scores and percentile. MAT score will be valid for one year. MAT cutoff is decided by the participating management institutes to shortlist candidates for further rounds of selection procedure. The cutoff score ranges from 250 to 700 and vary among Business schools. Each participating institutes have their own selection procedure that consists of Group Discussion, Personal Interview and or Written Ability Test (WAT) rounds. Candidates will be offered final admission on the basis of their performance in the selection rounds.
MAT is conducted to assess a candidate’s aptitude and skills required for postgraduate management programmes. The exam is held four times in year February, May, September and December. Over 20,000 candidates appear in MAT.
