The Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) 2017 was successfully held on May 02 in two sessions – morning and forenoon. Sri Venkateswara University conducted the entrance test in offline mode various exam centres in across 14 districts of Andhra Pradesh. As per the test takers, overall difficulty level of the paper can be rated from moderate to difficult. There was a total of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and the duration of the test was 150 minutes. The question booklet of AP ICET 2017 had three sections – A, B and C. Candidates who appeared in the exam had to attempt sections A and B either in English or Telegu while section C was done in English only.
The AP ICET result is scheduled to be announced on May 10, 2017. The result will be available only in online mode. The candidates must score a minimum of 25% to pass the test i.e. 50 marks out of 200.
The University will release the preliminary answer key of AP ICET on May 04, 2017. With the help of the answer key, the candidates can match the keys against their answers. For every correct answer, candidates can add 1 mark and then calculate the score (expected). In case of any objections regarding the preliminary answer key, the candidates can submit the objections till May 07, 2017. The final answer key will be released on May 10, along with the AP ICET result.
As mentioned above, the candidates were provided 150 minutes to complete the test. There was a total of 200 MCQs and each question carried one mark. The section-wise distribution of questions is given below. There was no negative marking in the test.

The University will announce the result on May 10, and will provide the candidate’s score and rank. The AP ICET 2017 result will be available only in online mode. Also, with the announcement of the result, the final official answer key will also be available. Based on the rank and score, candidates will be shortlisted for the counselling rounds. To check the result, candidates are required to enter their AP ICET 2017 roll number.
The cutoff scores of AP ICET will be prepared by the various participating institutes on the basis of various factors like number of seats, candidates appeared in exam and difficulty level of questions. The AP ICET cutoff scores are the minimum marks that the candidates must obtain to be eligible for the counselling rounds of the various institutes. It must be noted that cutoff marks will vary with the candidate’s category and with the institute.
However, it must be noted that the qualifying cutoff and the admission cutoff marks are different in AP ICET. The University has set 25% as the qualifying cutoff while the admission cutoff scores will be decided by the participating institutes.
