AP ICET 2018: The Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test or AP ICET is conducted for admission to MBA programmmes in universities and colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The exam is conducted by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati on behalf of A.P. State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The exam will be conducted online on May 2, 2018 across 48 exam centres. AP ICET 2018 exam notification is likely to be released in February. AP ICET 2018 application form is expected to be released in March. To be eligible for AP ICET 2018 candidates must have Bachelors degree in any discipline with 50% for General and OBC candidates while 45% for SC, ST and PwD candidates. The test comprises three sections - Analytical, Mathematical and Communication Ability covering 200 marks and is held for 150 minute duration. On the basis of the candidates score, a merit list is prepared and ranks are assigned accordingly. Candidates securing 25% in APICET 2018 qualify to be considered for the merit list. Based on the rank in the merit list, candidates are called for AP ICET counselling 2018. The rank obtained in APICET 2018 is valid for admission for the academic year 2018-19. AP ICET eligibility criteria 2018 have been prescribed by the exam conducting authority. The eligibility criteria comprise details such as age, educational qualification, domicile and nationality that has to be fulfilled by candidates to be eligible for the exam. Nationality: Candidates must be an Indian citizen.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have Bachelors degree in any discipline under 10 + 2 + 3 pattern in any discipline, 50 % for general and OBC and 45 % for SC, ST and PwD. Candidates appearing for the final year degree examination can also apply.
AP ICET application form will be released in March 2018. Candidates have to apply online for AP ICET 2018. The application form can be filled in four steps. The application fee is Rs 450 and can be paid both online and offline. AP ICET 2018 application correction window will be activated after the last date of submission of application. Candidates can correct details such as a qualifying exam, medium of instruction, place of study, mothers name, birth state and district etc. Candidates are advised to take print out of AP ICET application form after final submission and retain the same till completion of that admission process.

AP ICET exam centres will be released by the examination authority along with the notification. AP ICET 2018 is likely to be conducted around 48 cities. Candidates have to select any two districts from the given list of AP ICET exam centres while application form. The exam will be conducted in two sessions - 10 am to 12.30 pm and 2. 30 pm to 5 pm. AP ICET admit card will be issued in April 2018. The admit card will be available online and no hard copy of the same will be sent to candidates by post. To download AP ICET admit card 2018 candidates have to enter their registration id and date of birth. The admit card will have details such as candidate name, APICET 2017 roll number, address, contact details, exam centre name and address, photograph, signature and test day instructions. APICET admit card is a important document and without it candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
The exam pattern of AP ICET has been defined by Sri Venkateswara University. According to AP ICET exam pattern, the test is divided into three sections Analytical, Mathematical and Communication Ability. There will be 200 objective type questions and marks allotted for the exam is 200. The test will be held for 150 minutes duration. The question paper will be in English and Telugu language. AP ICET syllabus has been prescribed by the exam conducting body. The syllabus comprises topics from Data Sufficiency, Problem Solving, Arithmetical Ability, Algebraical and Geometrical Ability, Statistical Ability, Vocabulary, Business and Computer Terminology, Functional Grammar and Reading Comprehension. AP ICET answer key will be released in May 2018. The examination authority will first release the preliminary answer. The final AP ICET answer key 2018 will be released along with the result. To check the answer key candidates have to select the session that they have appeared in. Along with the API CET answer key, the response sheet will also be released. To view the response sheet candidates have to enter their registration number and hall ticket number. AP ICET answer key will be available online. The answer key will contain the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. Candidates can challenge the preliminary answer key if they find any discrepancy in the answers. AP ICET result will be announced online by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. To check AP ICET result candidates have to enter their registration number and date of birth. On the basis of scores obtained by candidates, the examination authority will prepare the merit list and ranks will be assigned to them accordingly. Candidates marks of will be normalised to adjust the difficulty level of question papers since the exam will be held in two sessions. Tie-breaker will be applied if more than one candidate scores the same marks. AP ICET rank card and scorecard will be released few days after the declaration of AP ICET result. To view rank card candidates have to enter their AP ICET admit card number, registration number and date of birth. The rank card will have candidates name, hall ticket number, marks obtained in each section, overall marks and rank of candidate. Ranks obtained by candidates will be valid for the academic year 2018-19.
AP ICET cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates have to secure to qualify the exam and become eligible for the next round of the selection process. The cutoff of APICET 2018 will be announced after the declaration of result. The cut off is released by the participating institutes that accepts scores of APICET. AP ICET cutoff will indicate the percentage or marks required to be eligible for the counselling rounds. Candidates have to secure 25%, that is 50 out of 200 to qualify the exam. No qualifying marks have prescribed for SC and ST candidates. AP ICET cutoff will depend on the factors such as total number of candidates, availability of seats and difficulty level of the exam
AP ICET counselling will be conducted between June and July. On the basis of rank in the merit list candidates will be called for counselling. The counselling process includes registration, document verification, filling of online options, allotment of seats, payment of fee, reporting at the college and participating in the pre-admission processes. To participate in APICET 2018 counselling candidates have to first register by paying the requisite fee. Candidates while appearing for counselling have to carry APICET admit card, rank card, marksheet of Class 12 and graduation, Aadhaar card and income certificate.
