The entrance test will be held in a computer-based mode for admission to the 20 IIMs and more than 100 Management Institutions. The Common Admission Test is one of the renowned management entrance test that attracts lakhs of candidates. Qualifying the test and then grabbing a seat in one of the IIMs and other top-rated management institutions. The test will be conducted in a computer-based mode and the total marks are 300. There is no age limit to apply for the test and only Indian citizens can apply.
CAT Application Form 2017 – The MBA aspirants who preparing to appear for CAT 2017 must make sure they apply before the deadline. To start applying for IIM-CAT, candidates must start the registration process. The registration and the application process is completely online. First, the candidates must register for the test by entering all the email ID, mobile number and other required details. Only after successfully registering for the test, candidates will be able to access the application form. Candidates must make sure that they carefully fulfil all the necessary details. Any error in the registration or application details will lead to the cancellation of the candidature.
CAT Admit Card 2017 – Only the candidates who successfully submit the application form are able to access the admit card. The CAT hall ticket is available only in online mode. Candidates must download the CAT 2017 admit card and keep a copy of the same. After downloading the hall ticket, candidates must check the details printed on it and make sure they are error free. On the day of the test, candidates must make sure that they carry it to the exam hall and produce it to the invigilator to seek entry to the exam hall. Also, after the conduct of the test, candidates must keep the admit card safe for further admission rounds.
CAT Exam Pattern 2017 – The computer-based test will be held in 140 cities (approx.). The test will contain both MCQs and non-MCQs as well. There will be a total of 100 questions and these questions and each will carry 3 marks. For every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted. The candidates will be provided 3 hours to complete the test i.e. 1 hour for each section.
CAT Result 2017 – The result for CAT 2017 will be available online. However, there are chances that the CAT scores and percentile will also be sent to their mobile phones via SMS. To check the CAT 2017 result online, the candidates are required to log in with their CAT credentials. The CAT result will be furnishing the candidate’s sectional and overall score along with the percentile. Based on the CAT result, candidates will be shortlisted for the counselling rounds of the IIMs and other top-rated B-Schools.
