CMAT Cutoff 2018CMAT Cutoff 2018 – The cutoff of CMAT is the minimum marks that candidates have to score to become eligible for the selection process of the participating institutes. CMAT cutoff will be released by the participating institutes. The result has been announced on February 15, 2018. According to experts, the cutoff is expected to go up this year as the paper was moderate to easy. Candidates securing a score of 235 to 240 can expect a call for GD and PI from GIM. Candidates scoring 275 to 280 can get call from KJSOM. CMAT cutoff is decided based on the difficulty level, number of candidates who took the test and availability of seats. What is CMAT cutoff 2018?

CMAT cutoff is the minimum marks decided by the participating institutes to call candidates for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates securing equal to or more than the cutoff are shortlisted for next round of selection procedure. CMAT cutoff might be in the form of percentage or percentile.

CMAT 2018 Merit list

CMAT merit list has been prepared based on the scores obtained by candidates in the exam. Based on a candidate’s rank in the merit list as well as CMAT cutoff, they will be called for GD and PI. The percentile is calculated using the formula.

Percentile P = ( (N- Rank of the candidate)/ N) x 100

Note: P is the percentile and N is the total number of candidates appeared for the exam.

How the scores be calculated in CMAT 2018?

CMAT scores are calculated by the following method.

  • Candidates for correct answer scored + 4 marks
  • -1 mark was deducted for the wrong answer
  • No marks was awarded for questions left unattempted.

CMAT result 2018

CMAT result has been announced onlinet. To check the result, candidates have to login with their id and password. CMAT result 2018 have roll number, name, score, rank and percentile of all the candidates. CMAT scorecard has been released along with the result. On the basis of a candidate’s performance in GE, PI or WAT, as well as CMAT scores, admission to various management programmes is offered at institutes and universities approved by AICTE. CMAT scores is valid for the academic year 2018-19.
