DU JAT 2018: The University of Delhi will conduct the Joint Admission Test or DU JAT 2018 in July. DU JAT 2018 will be conducted in pen and paper mode, i.e. offline mode at various test centers across the country. Students appearing in the DU JAT 2018 entrance exam will be admitted to B.A. (Hons.) Candidates must check the eligibility criteria for DU JAT 2018 before filling up the registration form. Eligibility includes a candidate’s educational qualification, age and category.
Age requirement: There is no minimum age bar for admission to programmes covered under DU JAT 2018.
Educational qualification: Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board. Both General and OBC category candidates must possess 60% aggregate in 12th while for reserved category candidates it is 50%.

Candidates have the option of selecting their preferred choice of DU JAT exam center 2018 in the DU JAT 2018 registration form. DU JAT 2018 will be conducted in six cities including Bengaluru, Delhi, Jammu, Kolkata, Nagpur and Varanasi. The exam center cannot be changed once the DU JAT admit card 2018 is issued.
The University of Delhi will release the DU JAT admit card 2018 in the first week of July 2018. Candidates can download their DU JAT 2018 hall ticket from the link that will be given on this page as and when the university releases it. After downloading and saving it, candidates must preserve it for future purpose as well. Entry will only be granted to those candidates who carry their DU JAT admit card 2018 on exam day. Admit card for DU JAT 2018 will have the candidate’s name, address, contact details, photograph, name of the exam center and timing of the exam. DU JAT admit card 2018 shall be available in the online application account three days after the last date of application.
DU JAT 2018 will be conducted in pen and paper mode, i.e. offline mode. DU JAT 2018 will test the candidate’s knowledge in Quantitative Ability, General English, General Awareness and Reasoning & Analytical Ability. The DU JAT exam pattern 2018 is divided in the above mentioned four sections covering 100 MCQs that candidates will have to attempt in 2 hours. For every right answer, 4 marks will be awarded and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Delhi university has prescribed a syllabus for DU JAT 2018. Topics covered in Quantitative Ability include numbers, profit and loss, fractions and decimals, ratio and proportion, graphs and pie charts. General English will cover grammar, identification of common errors, synonyms, antonyms, word formation, fill in the blanks etc. Reasoning and Analytical Ability has topics such as verbal analogy, word sequence, terms and prepositions and time sequence among others. Geography, economics, history, politics and current affairs are covered under General Awareness.

DU JAT result 2018 will be announced by the University of Delhi in the third week of July 2018. Candidates can check their result on this page as a link will be given as and when the result is announced by entering their login ID and password and clicking on “Submit” button. They must download and save the result and take a printout of it and produce the same at the time of counselling.
DU JAT score card 2018 will be released by the university only after it declares DU JAT result 2018. It will be available in the online mode and will have to be downloaded. Rank card of DU JAT 2018 will have section wise score obtained by the candidate apart from their overall score.
DU JAT cut off 2018 is the minimum score that candidates appearing in DU JAT 2018 must obtain to become eligible for the next round of selection process. The university will release the cut off after declaring the result of DU JAT 2018. The cut off 2018 of DU JAT 2018 will depend on the number of candidates appearing in DU JAT 2018, number of candidates clearing the exam, difficulty level of the question paper and the number of seats available for all the programmes.
Candidates clearing DU JAT 2018 will be selected on the basis of two parameters, the first one being their score in the exam and the other one being their score in the Class XII board exams. Their DU JAT 2018 score will be given 65% weightage whereas the remaining 35% will be given to what they achieve in the boards. Candidates might be called for further rounds like group discussion and personal interview. However, that depends from institute to institute.
DU JAT counselling 2018 will happen in the fourth week of July 2018 after the declaration of DU JAT result 2018. Selected candidates will be required to carry documents such as class 12 marksheet, passing certificate, character certificate, category certificate, DU JAT admit card 2018 and eight passport sized photographs.
DU JAT seat allotment 2018 is done after considering scores obtained by candidates in DU JAT 2018 and also based on their choice of college and programmes.
