FMS Delhi MBA Admission 2017FMS Delhi MBA Admission 2017 – The list of provisionally selected candidates for admission into the MBA programmes of Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi has been released. The list is prepared after considering the CAT 2016 result and the performance of the candidates in the Extempore/Personal Interview rounds conducted by FMS. Also, the waiting list in order of the merit for all the category has been released. To check the list of selected candidates and wait listed candidates for FMS Delhi MBA Admission 2017, candidates can click on the appropriate links provided below. 85% weightage was given to the total score of CAT, 10% to PI and 5% to the Extempore. In addition, 3% of maximum composite score was awarded to every girl candidate. FMS Delhi MBA Admission 2017

The Institute conducted the Extempore Speech and PI rounds at its campus to select the candidates for admission into the MBA programmes. For all the shortlisted candidates who appeared for the further rounds of admission, FMS Delhi has released the list for provisionally selected and wait-listed candidates. These lists have been released individually for all the categories of candidates. The selected candidates are required to be present at the FMS office for admission from May 02 to 16, 2017 (between 10 am to 4 pm). Note – 

  1. Selected candidates are required to deposit the requisite fee as per University of Delhi rules (approx. Rs. 11000/-). Also, they are required to submit 4 stamp-size photographs with the name of the candidate written in block letters at the back in a small envelope bearing the name of the candidate.
  2. Every selected candidate must produce Original Certificates in support of her/his age and qualifications in order to satisfy the minimum eligibility conditions as prescribed for admission to the course.
  3. The candidates belonging to reserved category will have to produce the necessary original certificates as issued by the appropriate and competent authority.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree passed with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA (for ST/ SC: 45%).

  2. The candidates appearing in their final year examination of their Bachelor’s degree can also apply.

  3. Also, the candidates must have a valid CAT 2015 score.

  2. The candidates are required to pay the requisite fee of Rs. 1000/- (ST/ SC/ PWD Category: Rs. 350/-).

Seat Structure

The admission into the management programmes of FMS will be according to the seat intake. The present availability of seat in FMS is given below – 

MBA Full Time – 200 seats

Unreserved seats – 101 seats

Reserved seats – SC – 30, ST – 15 & OBC – 54

Fee Structure

Another important feature of FMS, Delhi is the low fee structure and high placement packages. The annual tuition fee of FMS Delhi is approximately Rs. 11000/- for full-time MBA programme. However, the total fee including other charges rounds upto Rs. 25000/-

Selection Procedure

FMS will shortlist candidates for its Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds of FMS Delhi MBA Admission 2016. The shortlisting will be done on the basis of their CAT scores. Candidates qualifying in the GD and PI rounds will be eligible to take admission into the flagship MBA programme of FMS. FMS is the only top business school that shortlist candidates for the first stage of pre-admission process on the basis of their CAT percentile and not according to their academic profile, work experience and other factors.

The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in Extempore Speech and Personal Interview. In the final round, the candidate’s academic record, work experience and other factors including the CAT score will be taken into account for selection.

The summer placement of the batch of 2014-16 was successfully completed. The batch of 2014-16 had 219 students were placed within 3.5 days. This year, over 87 companies took participation in the summer placement process and around 36 companies participated for the first time.
