IGNOU OPENMAT Admit Card 2018 XLIIIIGNOU OPENMAT Admit Card 2018 - Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will issue IGNOU OPENMAT admit card in the last week of April, 2018. Admit cards will be available online. Candidates have to enter their enrollment number for downloading IGNOU OPENMAT 2018 admit card. The admit cards will be issued to candidates who have registered for the exam before last date. IGNOU OPENMAT admit card 2018 contains information like a candidate’s name, enrollment number, date, time, name, address of exam centre as well as exam day guidelines. Candidates are advised to check the details printed in the admit card. For any discrepancies, should immediately contact the examination authority for correction. Candidates have to take the printout of IGNOU OPENMAT admit card/hall ticket and photo-identity proof to the exam centre. Without the admit card candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam. How to download IGNOU OPENMAT admit card 2018?

The step by step guide to download the admit card is given below.

Method 1 (If candidates know their enrolment number)

  • Step 1: Candidates in the admit card login page have to enter their 9 digit enrolment number.
  • Step 2: Click on the ‘Submit’ button
  • Step 3: IGNOU OPENMAT admit card will appear on the screen
  • Step 4: Download and take a print of admit card.

Method 2 (To find enrolment number)

  • Step 1: Candidates have to enter their partial name. For eg: If the name is Shiva Ranjan then enter either ‘Ranj’ or ‘Shiv’
  • Step 2: Enter date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format.
  • Step 3: Click on the ‘Submit’ button
  • Step 4: On finding the enrolment number, click on it and print the admit card

How to get a print out of IGNOU OPENMAT 2018 admit card?

Candidates may get their respective hall ticket printed from the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) by paying Rs 5/- at the CSC itself. The candidates can find their nearest CSC by clicking on ‘CSC Locator’.

What documents to carry to the IGNOU OPENMAT exam centre?

Following documents are allowed inside IGNOU OPENMAT exam centre

  • Admit card along with valid photo-identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, PAN Card and Driving License.
  • Pencil, eraser, and sharpener are allowed inside the examination hall.

What not to carry to IGNOU OPENMAT exam centre?

Candidates are not allowed to carry any kind of electronic devices to the examination hall.

IGNOU OPENMAT 2018: Exam day guidelines

  • Candidates without admit card and photo-identity proof will not be allowed to appear in the exam.
  • The exam will start at 10 am therefore candidates should reach the IGNOU OPENMAT exam centre at 9.15 am.
  • Candidates will not be permitted to appear for the exam if they reach after 10.30 am.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam centre before 11 am.


The Indira Gandhi National Open University conducts IGNOU OPENMAT exam twice a year. The exam is conducted to shortlist candidates for postgraduate management programmes offered by IGNOU.
