IIM Bodh Gaya Admission Criteria 2018 – The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya has announced the admission criteria for PGDM 2018-20 batch. As per the IIM Bodh Gaya admission criteria 2018, candidates who are seeking admission in PGDM programme have to appear for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017, which is scheduled to be held on November 26, 2017. IIM Bodh Gaya admission criteria 2018 states that candidates will be shortlisted for the next rounds of admissions on the basis of CAT 2017 scores. Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). IIM Bodh Gaya Admission Criteria 2018 – Stage 1
In stage 1 of IIM Bodhgaya admission process 2018, candidates will be shortlisted for the next rounds of admission, which comprise WAT & PI. Only those candidates will be considered for shortlisting who meet the minimum CAT cutoff criteria.

As mentioned in the table given above, a general category candidate must have a minimum overall percentile of 90 and sectional percentile of 80 in CAT 2017 exam. In case the candidates’ CAT percentile is lower than the cutoff scores, they will not be eligible for the nexr rounds. Similarly, the candidates belonging to the NC-OBC category must have an overall percentile of 75 and sectional percentile of 55. As pert the IIM Bodhgaya admission criteria 2018, the minimum qualifying percentile for SC, ST and DA categories is 55, 35 and 35 respectively. It must be noted that the actual overall and section-wise percentile may be much higher than those mentioned in the table given above.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for WAT & PI. The scores of WAT & PI will play a crucial role in the final selection.
IIM Bodh Gaya Admission Process 2018 – Stage 2
As per the admission criteria of IIM Bodhgaya 2018, a final merit list of the candidates will be prepared after taking into consideration a number of factors. Candidates will be assigned weights on different criteria. The table given below provides more information on the criteria and their weights.

As can be seen in the table given above, CAT 2017 scores and PI will carry the highest weightage. IIM Bodh Gaya will also give 2 points to female candidates. This is being done to increase the number of female candidates in a classroom. Candidates must note that other IIMs are also focusing giving extra points to female candidates to increase gender diversity in MBA programmes.
Points for Work Experience
As per the IIM Bodhgaya admission criteria 2018, a maximum of 3 points will be awarded to the candidates for work experience. The points to be awarded will depend on the length of service. Candidates can check the table given below for more information –

As shown in the table given above, maximum three points will be awarded to candidates who have work experience of 25 to 36 months. Here, it must be noted that only managerial work experience after graduation will be considered. Any kind of training/ project work/ work done as an integral part of curricular requirements will not be taken into consideration and no points will be awarded for the same.
IIM Bodh Gaya was established in 2015. It functions under the mentorship of IIM Calcutta. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) offered by IIM Bodh Gaya is a two-year full-time management programme.
