IIM Lucknow Admission Criteria 2018-20IIM Lucknow Admission Criteria 2018 – IIM Lucknow, a premier management institute and the conducting body of CAT 2017, has released the admission criteria for PGP, PGP-ABM and PGP-SM programmes. IIM Lucknow admission criteria 2018 – 20 can be divided into two stages. In stage one, candidates are shortlisted for Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). In stage two, the final selection of candidates is done. IIM Lucknow Admission Criteria 2018 – 20 – Minimum Qualifying Percentile

The candidates who are seeking admissions in IIM Lucknow, must appear for CAT 2017. The Institute has specified the minimum sectional and overall percentile scores that the candidates must score in CAT 2017 to be eligible for next rounds of admission. In other words, only the candidates whose percentiles are above the qualifying percentile will be eligible for WAT & PI. IIM Lucknow admission criteria 2018 – 20 clearly states that only the candidates who meet the qualifying cutoff criteria will be eligible for the next rounds of admissions. However, the candidates must know that even if their percentiles are more than the minimum qualifying percentile, there is no certainty that they will be invited for WAT and PI.

The calculation of composite scores is the next step in the admission criteria of IIM Lucknow. Composite scores will be calculated only of those candidates who are eligible for the next rounds i.e. who meet the minimum qualifying percentile criteria. On the basis of their composite scores, the candidates will be invited for WAT and PI. As per the IIM Lucknow Admission Criteria 2018 – 20, composite scores will be calculated on the basis of the following components –

IIM Lucknow Admission Criteria 2018 – 20 – Points to Keep in Mind

  • In Personal Interview, the candidates need to score minimum 12 marks out of 40
  • IIM Lucknow will apply Government of India reservation policy for admission
  • To be eligible for PGP-SM programme, candidates must have a minimum work experience of 24 months
  • While calculating composite score, maximum marks for diversity factor cannot exceed 20 (PGP-ABM) only
