IIM Ranchi Admission Criteria 2016 -18 – Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi, has released the admission criteria for admission into its PGDM courses. The candidates will be shortlisted for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) on the basis of their CAT 2015 Score. The WAT and PI will be common for all the new six IIMs, namely, Ranchi, Rohtak, Raipur, Tiruchirappalli, Udaipur and Kashipur. IIM Ranchi Admission Criteria & Selection Procedure 2016
The selection procedure for IIM Ranchi will be based on these three factors – (a) Eligibility Criteria, (b) Shortlist for WAT & PI, and (c) Final Selection. For details on the selection procedure, check below –
Eligibility Criteria – The candidates applying for IIM Indore must meet the eligibility criteria as per as the criteria mentioned in the CAT 2015 Advertisement. To get selected for the WAT and PI rounds, the candidates must fulfill the required overall and sectional percentile. Check the table provided below for details on the required criteria for getting shortlisted for IIM Ranchi WAT & PI.

Since the above table is predictive, few candidates scoring the minimum criteria may not get shortlisted for WAT and PI. The list of shortlisted candidates of all the new IIMs will be combined together for further processing.
Shortlisting for PI & WAT Process – The Personal Interview and the Written Ability Test will be held at various centres, namely, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore. The date for the WAT and PI will be announced soon to the candidates.
Final Admissions 2016 – The final selection will be announced after the WAT & PI process is over. The final selection list will be compiled on the basis of the candidate’s CAT Score, PI score, WAT score and Profile. For the profile score, IIM Ranchi will be following method –

A total of 15 marks is given to the Academic Profile. The academic profile will be evaluated on the marks obtained in school and high school/Junior College. Check the table below to check the compilation of Academic Profile.

Note – If the candidate’s bachelor degree is a non-engineering degree, then he/she will be credited a total of 5 marks. Also, female candidates will be awarded 5 marks. However, the admission criteria may vary at the time of admission.
