IIT Bombay will announce the shortlist and slot selection between February 9 and 14. As per IIT Bombay MBA admission 2018 schedule, the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) is scheduled to be held from March 10 to 13, 2018. The final list of selected candidates will be released on April 30, 2018. Candidates applying for IIT Bombay MBA admission must have a Bachelor’s or Masters’s degree in any discipline with 60 % for general and OBC and 55 % for SC/ST categories. IIT Bombay MBA admission 2018 selection procedure comprises two phases. First, candidates will be shortlisted for WAT and PI based on the overall CAT 2017 percentile prescribed the institute. Second, preparation of final merit list based on a candidate’s composite score of different parameters – CAT 2017 overall percentile score, performance in PI and WAT and profile. Specific weightages will be assigned to these factors to arrive at the merit list. Total 123 seats will be filled through IIT Bombay MBA admission. Selected candidates will be offered admission in Shailesh J.Mehta School of Management, IIT Bombay for two year MBA programme. IIT Bombay MBA Eligibility Criteria 2018

It is important for the candidates to check the eligibility criteria of MBA programme offered by IIT Bombay. Only the eligible candidates will be considered for MBA admission in IIT Bombay. The eligibility criteria for IIT Bombay MBA admission 2018 are as follows -

  • Applicants must have Bachelor’s or Master’s in any discipline with 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST candidates) or minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 for SC/ ST candidates) out of 10.
  • Professional degree such as CA/ CWA with Bachelor’s degree having 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST candidates).
  • Candidates who are in the final year or are awaiting results of Bachelor’s can also apply.

IIT Bombay MBA Admission Application Form 2018

The online IIT Bombay MBA admission application form is available from January 9 to 29, 2018. The application form can be filled in three steps – registration, filling the application form and fee payment. Candidates have to pay their application fees online which is Rs 1600 for general and NC-OBC while it is Rs 800 for SC, ST, PWD candidates. Candidates can also check their application status.   • In the registration page, click on ‘New User?Click here to Register’. Already registered users should ignore this.

  • Enter the email id and click on ‘Register’

  • An email with the activation URL will been sent to candidate’s registered email id, click on the URL within 12 hours and fill the details as directed.

  • Fill the details and submit

Filling of online application form

  • Log in using the email id to fill the other details in the application form

  • The candidates should fill up all the mandatory details in one go as the session will expire in 50 minutes

  • Enter personal, educational, employment details along with any extra-curricular activities in the application form

  • Enter valid CAT 2017 registration number and percentiles

  • Candidates have to upload documents like Photograph, Signature. Degree certificates, CAT Score Card, Caste certificate for reserved applicants and Physically disabled certificate for applicants with disability.

Fee Payment

  • Candidates have to pay the fee online using SBI online banking, Canara net banking, Credit Cards & Debit Cards.

  • Online payment can be made only after final submission of application form.

Note: Candidates should take a printout of IIT Bombay MBA admission application form. They are not required to post the hard copy of application form. Candidates have to bring the printout of application form and self-attested copies of certificates.

IIT Bombay MBA Cutoff 2018

Candidates who are seeking admission to IIT Bombay MBA programme must meet the minimum qualifying percentile. Only the candidates whose CAT scores are above the qualifying cutoff will be considered for IIT Bombay MBA admission 2018. To secure a seat in the MBA programme of IIT Bombay, candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria of the institute. Given below are the stages of IIT Bombay MBA admission 2018. The first stage is shortlisting of candidates based on CAT percentile. The second stage involves preparation of merit list. The phases of IIT Bombay MBA admission 2018 has been explained below.
Phase 1
Once the application process is complete, IIT Bombay shortlist candidates for WAT and PI.
