Karnataka Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2017 has been conducted on July 2, 2017. The exam was conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) at several examination centres across the state of Karnataka. A large number of MBA aspirants appeared for Karnataka PGCET MBA 2017 exam, which was held from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. KPGCET MBA exam is conducted for admissions to postgraduate management programmes offered by around 180 institutes in Karnataka.
The exam was conducted in pen and paper mode. The candidates had to mark the correct answers in the OMR sheet. Karnataka PGCET 2017 MBA exam was divided into 4 sections – English Language, General Knowledge, Reasoning & General Intelligence, and Quantitative Analysis. Each section carried 25 questions, and the total number of questions in the exam was 100. Only Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) were asked in the exam.
The official answer key is expected to be released after three days of the exam i.e. on July 5, 2017. It will be released by KEA, the conducting body of Karantaka PGCET MBA exam. The answer key will contain all the correct answers. The answer key will be released online. The candidates are advised to check the answer key carefully. In case of any discrepancies, the candidates can file their objections. Along with the objections, the candidates must provide the supporting evidence.
The result of Karnataka PGCET MBA exam is likely to be declared in the third/ fourth week of July 2017. The result will be declared online. The rank list will be prepared as per the marking scheme. 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer. There is no negative marking in the exam. After the announcement of ranks, the counselling process will start. The counselling will include document verification and seat selection.
