Karnataka PGCET MBA Seat Allotment

Karnataka PGCET MBA centralized seat allotment process has started. Seat Allotment is done online in two rounds as per the seat matrix, ranks and preferences entered by candidates. Candidates allotted seats in the second round have to confirm their allotment, pay the fees, download admission order and report to the colleges in between September 26 to 27, 2017. Karnataka PGCET MBA seat allotment result of second round has been published on September 25, 2017.

Karnataka PGCET MBA Option Entry 2017

Karnataka PGCET MBA option entry for second round has concluded. The last date of option entry for Karnataka PGCET MBA was September 25. Candidates have to enter their preferences of colleges online. To login, candidates have to enter their PGCET number and captcha code. 

Karnataka PGCET MBA Cutoff 2017 

KEA will release Karnataka PGCET MBA cutoff of second round on September 26. The cutoff has been announced in the form of ranks. The cutoff rank is being announced by the examination authority after completion of each round of seat allotment. 

Karnataka PGCET MBA Result 2017

The merit list is prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by candidates in KPGCET exam. The result is available only for those candidates who will secure cut off score as per their category. Based on the Karnataka PGCET 2017 MBA Result, examination authority has prepared the rank list of candidates as the overall score secured in the entrance exam. 

Karnataka PGCET MBA Document Verification 2017

Karnataka PGCET MBA documents verification of shortlisted candidates were conducted from August 30 to September 7, 2017. Only those candidates whose documents have been verified by KEA are allowed for option entry. After verification candidates were issued verification slip and unique password. Candidates will require the password to login for option entry. 

Karnataka PGCET MBA Counselling 2017

After the announcement of merit list, the successful candidates are called for Karnataka PGCET counselling. Only those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria are required to attend the counselling. The seat allotment is done online on the basis of merit and priority options. A simple and user-friendly software is used to make the entire online counselling process smooth and hassle-free.

Karnataka PGCET MBA Participating Institutes 2017

KPGCET exam scores are accepted by government-aided and private institutes in Karnataka. Some of  Karnataka PGCET MBA participating institutes are Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management (Mangalore), Ballari Institute of Technology & Management (Ballary), BTL Institute of Technology & Management (Bangalore), KS School of Engineering and Management (Bangalore) and Angadi Institute of Technology and Mangement (Belgaum).

Karnataka PGCET MBA Answer Key 2017

KEA released the provisional answer key of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2017 exam on July 13, 2017. The last date to submit the objections is July 17 (until 5.30 pm). The candidates must ensure that the objections are filed as per the prescribed format. The subject, version code and question number must be clearly mentioned in the objections. Also, the justification must be submitted along with the objection. The final Karnataka PGCET MBA answer key 2017 will be released along with the result.

Karnataka PGCET MBA Eligibility 2017

As far as the qualifying marks are concerned, there is no change this year. Here are some of the Karnataka PGCET MBA eligibility requirements that the candidates need to fulfill-

  • To be eligible for this exam, the candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree exam with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST and Category 1 of Karnataka candidates).
  • Only Karnataka candidates are eligible for reservation. Karnataka candidates are defined as those candidates who have studied in an educational institute, which is located in Karnataka, for a minimum of seven years. It should be a government institute or must be recognised by the government.

Here, it is important to note that the qualifying examination marks will be considered only for the eligibility. The merit list will be prepared only on the basis of the scores obtained in KPGCET.

Karnataka PGCET MBA Application Form 2017

KPGCET MBA 2017 application form was accepted only online. After registering themselves on the website, the candidates will have to fill in the required information in the ‘Student Information’ section. The application fee for KPGCET MBA 2017 for general candidates is Rs. 650 while that for OBC, SC/ ST is Rs. 500.

Karnataka PGCET MBA Admit Card 2017

Karnataka PGCET MBA 2017 admit card has been released on June 25, 2017. The admit card contains the details of the candidates, exam timings, venue information etc. The students must download Karnataka PGCET hall ticket by visiting the link provided on this page. At the time of downloading Karnataka PGCET admit card 2017, the candidates need to enter the application ID and password. The candidates will have to carry the admission ticket to the examination centre. The candidates are advised to preserve the admit card until the admission process is complete as it will be required at the time of counselling.

Karnataka PGCET MBA Exam Pattern 2017

KPGCET 2017 MBA exam pattern compirses four sections namely- Proficiency in English Language, General Knowledge, Test of Reasoning and General Intelligence, and Quantitative Analysis. Each section will have questions from a variety of topics as prescribed in the syllabus. Only multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam. The question paper of KPGCET 2017 MBA will have 100 multiple choice questions. The exam will be conducted for 150 minutes. As per the marking scheme of KPGCET 2017 MBA candidates will secure one mark for every correct answer.

Karnataka PGCET MBA Syllabus 2017

KPGCET MBA syllabus covers a wide variety of topics. The English section focuses on synonyms, antonyms, idioms & phrases, grammar, sentence correction etc. General Knowledge Section will focus on Indian business environment, social events, economics, political events, current affairs, sports, science, and technology etc. In the Reasoning and General Intelligence Section, the questions related to puzzles, diagrams, analogy, verbal ability and analytical ability will be asked. And in the Quantitative Analysis Section, the students can expect questions from arithmetic, data analysis, statistics and related quantitative aspects.
