kmatKMAT 2018: The Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) will be conducting the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2018 in July 2018 for admission to 169+ AICTE approved University-affiliated Management institutes in Bengaluru and across Karnataka offering MBA or PGDM. KMAT 2018 will be an All-India exam staged in paper-pencil mode, i.e. in offline mode in more than 10 cities across the country. KMAT online application 2018 begins in May 2018 and the last date to submit KMAT 2018 application form online will be in July 2018. Form can be filled in online mode only. KMAT admit card 2018 will be released in July 2018, just a few days before the day of the entrance test. KMAT 2018 will be used for admission to close to 10,000 seats in institutes offering management education in Karnataka. As per KMAT eligibility criteria 2018, candidates must have a Bachelor degree from any recognised university across India in Science/Engineering/Arts or Commence or Management with 50% aggregate for General category candidates and 45% aggregate for SC/ST category candidates being a prerequisite. As per KMAT exam pattern 2018, the test paper will have 120 MCQs spread across three sections and candidates will have 2 hours to attempt them. KMAT Eligibility Criteria 2018

The eligibility criteria of KMAT 2018 includes the candidate’s educational qualification. As per KMAT eligibility criteria 2018

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor degree with minimum 3 years duration in any stream (Commerce/Science/Management/Arts/Engineering/Technology) from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate for General category candidates and 45% aggregate for SC/ST category candidates.

KMAT Application Form 2018

The application form of KMAT 2018 is the form candidates interested in appearing in KMAT 2018 must fill in order to register for the exam. KMAT application form 2018 will release online in May 2018 and the last date of form submission will be in July 2018. Application fee of Rs 800 must be paid online via Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking or offline via Demand Draft, drawn in favour of ‘KMAT 2018’ payable at Bengaluru. KMAT Exam Centres 2018

KMAT exam centres 2018 will be those test centres where KPPGCA will be conducting the KMAT 2018 entrance test. Candidates at the time of filling up KMAT application form 2018 must mention the exam centre which they find nearest and most convenient. KMAT Admit Card 2018

KMAT Admit Card 2018 is the hall ticket of KMAT 2018, which candidates must carry on the day of the exam to their specified test centre. KPPGCA will release the admit card of KMAT 2018 in July 2018, just a few days before the day of the entrance test. The admit card of KMAT 2018 will contain all the details about the candidate such as his name, roll number, name of the test centre and address of the test centre. KMAT 2018 hall ticket should be carried along with a valid id proof and both must be produced before the invigilator, failing which the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination. KMAT admit card 2018 will be issued to only those candidates who have registered for KMAT 2018.

KMAT Exam Pattern 2018

The exam pattern of KMAT 2018 includes the number of questions in the test paper, the number of sections across which these have been spread out and the number of hours that candidates are allotted to finish them. As per KMAT exam pattern 2018, the test paper will contain a total of 120 objective type multiple choice questions spread across 3 sections, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability and Logical Reasoning. There will be 40 questions from each section, candidates getting a total of 2 hours to answer them all. 1 mark will be awarded for every right answer and there is no negative marking applicable in case answers have been marked incorrectly.

KMAT Syllabus 2018

Syllabus of KMAT 2018 includes all those topics covered under the 3 sections that questions in the test paper will be based on. KMAT syllabus 2018 will be prescribed by KPPGCA and it is advised that candidates interested in appearing in KMAT 2018 revise the entire syllabus thoroughly in order to put in their best performance on the day of the entrance test.

  • Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension: This section, primarily about the English language, will have questions based on grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages etc. There will be questions based on words, phrases, expressions and similar language skills.

  • Logical Reasoning: Some of the topics covered under logical reasoning include number and letter series, binary logic, seating arrangements, clocks, cubes, logical sequences, logical matching, blood relations and venn diagrams. Questions based on these topics will test the candidate’s ability to think and answer logically.

  • Quantitative Ability: Topics in this section of the entrance test will include numerical calculations, ratio & proportion, percentages, interest, time & speed, algebra, geometry, trigonometry etc. Candidates will be tested on their mathematical prowess and ability to answer with accuracy.

KMAT Exam Day Guidelines 2018

There are certain guidelines candidates appearing in KMAT 2018 must follow on the day of the entrance exam.

  • They must carry their KMAT admit card 2018 to the exam centre along with a valid id proof and produce the same before the invigilator as and when asked for.

  • They must be there in person at their specified exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam.

  • They must not leave the exam centre unless the exam is over. Even after completion, they must only leave after having been allowed to do so by the invigilator.

KMAT Answer Key 2018

KMAT Answer Key 2018 is that document which will contain all the correct answers to the questions asked in KMAT 2018. KPPGCA will release the KMAT 2018 answer key online after conducting the exam. The purpose behind releasing the KMAT answer key 2018 is to help candidates match their answers with the actual ones. This enables them to have a fair estimate regarding the score they will most probably achieve in the entrance test. KMAT result 2018 will be declared in August 2018 by KPPGCA in order to shortlist candidates for further rounds of selection.
