mat resultMAT Result 2018: The result of MAT has been declared on February 22, 2018.  Candidates who have appeared in the exam can check MAT February result and download scorecard by entering roll, application form number and test month. MAT scorecard displays the sectional score and percentile as well as composite score and overall percentile. Candidates have to download their scorecard online as the hard copy of the same will not be sent by post or email. Candidates can even check MAT 2018 result via SMS. For this, candidates have to send their application form number and date of birth to 54242. The scores of candidates will be sent to five participating institutes chosen by candidates during registration. On the basis of the scores, the participating institutes  calls candidates for next round of selection process. The sectional and composite scores has been scaled in the range 0 to 100 and 199 to 801 respectively to declare MAT result. The scores of MAT February is valid for admission for a year. Candidates can request for duplicate scorecard without any fee upto 45 days from the date of declaration of result.The link to check MAT 2018 result is provided on this page. How to check MAT Result 2018 via SMS?

Candidates can also check the result through SMS. To check the result through SMS, candidates have to send their application form number and date of birth to 54242. Eg: If a candidate’s MAT form number is 200387 and his/her date of birth is February 12, 1990, then the format should be MATS 200387 120290.

AIMA has also released the scorecard along with result. Candidates have to log in with the required credentials to download the scorecard. The examination authority will not sent the hard copy of scorecard to candidate’s registered address by post.

How to obtain duplicate scorecard?

In case candidates lose their scorecard, the same can be obtained through the following process.
  • Candidates have to write application on a plain paper requesting for a duplicate  scorecard
  • Candidates have to attach the photocopy of the MAT admit card signed by the invigilator.
  • The self-addressed envelope should have the following:
  1. Size 24cms x 12cms (approx)
  2. Candidate’s address written in capitals
  3. Postage stamp of Rs 40/- affixed for sending by Speed Post.
  • The request for the scorecard will be entertained up to 45 days from the date of declaration of the result.
  • Candidates have to pay Rs 100 for obtaining scorecard through demand draft.

MAT Result 2018 – What its purpose?

MAT is a standardized test conducted by AIMA to screen candidates for the b-schools for admission to their MBA and other allied management programmes.MAT scores are accepted by over 600 management institutes in the country.
MAT Result 2018 – Calculation of scores
The following process is adapted to calculate the result.
Calculation of section-wise scores: The sectional scores - Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning are scaled in the range 0 to 100 and scores below 20 or above 80 are rare.
Composite score: The composite score is arrived taking into consideration Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency and Intelligence and Critical Reasoning. The scores are scaled in the range 199 and 801. Scores below 200 or above 800 are uncommon.
Note: The score of Indian and Global Environment is calculated separately and is not included in the composite score. The score of this section is scaled in the range between 0 to 100 and score below 20 and above 80 are rare here

MAT 2018 Cutoff

MAT cutoff is the minimum required marks prescribed by the participating institutes to shortlist candidates for next round of selection process. MAT participating institutes release cutoff after the declaration of result. Candidates securing equal to or more than the MAT cutoff are called for further rounds of selection process. About MAT 2018

MAT is conducted four times in a year - February, May, September and December. To be eligible for MAT 2018, candidates must have a bachelors’ degree in any discipline. MAT is an objective type test and comprises section on Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment.
