Management Aptitude Test

MAT 2018 (February exam): The computer based test and pen and paper test of MAT was conducted on February 4 and 17, 2018, respectively. The result was announced on February 22. The composite score was scaled in the range 199 to 801 to declare the result. MAT 2018 cutoff will be released by the participating institutes in the first week of March. Based on the scores and cutoff, MAT participating institutes calls candidates for further rounds of selection process. The test booklet comprised five sections - Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment. MAT Eligibility Criteria 2018

MAT eligibility criteria have been prescribed by AIMA and provides details about age, educational qualification, nationality and work experience. According to MAT eligibility criteria 2018, candidates must have bachelors degree in any discipline with 50 %. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for MAT 2018 provisionally. No age limit and work experience has been prescribed by the examination authority for MAT 2018.

MAT Application Form 2018

Registration for MAT has started from December 20. Candidates can fill MAT application form 2018 both online and offline. The last date of MAT application is January 26, 2018. The link to apply online for MAT 2018 is provided above. The offline MAT application form 2018 can be purchased from study centres of AIMA by paying Rs 1271 . MAT application fees is Rs 1271 for all categories which can be paid both online and offline. The steps to apply for MAT 2018 is explained below.

MAT Exam Centres 2018

MAT exam centres has been released on December 20. MAT 2018 will be conducted across 53 exam cities. MAT exam centres are provided in the drop down menu in the registration form. The exam centres for paper-based and computer based test are different. Candidates have to choose two MAT exam centres from the given list. MAT exam centres will be allotted according to the preference of candidates. However, the exam conducting authority reserves the right to cancel or add exam centres.

MAT Admit Card 2018

MAT admit card has been released on January 27, 2018. Candidates have to download MAT admit card online by entering application number, date of birth and email id. The hard copy of the admit card will not be sent to candidates by post. MAT admit card 2018 mentions a candidate’s name, form number, roll number, exam date, time and address of test venue. Candidates have to take the printout of MAT 2018 admit card and photo-identity proof to the examination centre without these they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Candidate’s admit card will be verified as per the photo-identity proof at the entry gate of MAT exam centre.

MAT Exam Pattern 2018

MAT exam pattern gives the candidates’ an idea regarding the overall structure of the exam like marking scheme, time duration, total marks, number of questions and sections. The paper-based test of MAT is conducted in one session while computer-based test will be held in multiple slots depending on the number of applicants. MAT will be held for 150 minutes duration. The test carries 200 objective type multiple choice questions from five sections - Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment.

MAT syllabus 2018

MAT syllabus comprises topics that candidates need to cover for the exam. MAT syllabus 2018 outlines the chapters from Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment. AIMA has not prescribed any syllabus for MAT. However, the coaching institutes has released a tentative syllabus after analysing the previous year’s question papers. MAT Sample Papers 2018

MAT sample papers are like actual papers and delve into the syllabus and exam pattern. MAT sample papers are available online at Entrance Corner. MAT sample papers gives candidates an idea of the type of questions asked in the exam. Candidates should practice the sample papers to increase speed, accuracy and time-management skills. Practicing MAT sample papers helps in increasing the problem solving ability thus boosting the confidence of candidates during the exam.

MAT result 2018

MAT result has been declared on February 22. The result is available in the form of scores. To download MAT result 2018 and scorecard, candidates have to enter their roll number, form number and test month. MAT result/scorecard is available online and the  examination authority will not sent the same to candidates by post. Candidates will also receive an SMS regarding MAT result 2018. The scorecard displays the sectional and overall scores and percentile. The composite score of candidates was scaled in the range 199 to 801. The sectional scores was scaled in the range 0 to 100. Duplicate MAT scorecard will be issued to candidates with 45 days from the declaration of MAT result in case it is lost. MAT scores are valid for admission for a year.

MAT cutoff 2018

MAT cutoff is released by the participating institutes that accepts the scores. MAT cutoff 2018 will be released after the declaration of result in March. MAT cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates have to score to become eligible for selection. Candidates securing the cutoff prescribed by the respective participating institutes will be called for called for further rounds of selection. MAT Participating Institutes

MAT participating institutes has been announced by the examination authority. There are 256 institutes or colleges that will accept MAT February scores. MAT participating institutes provides the list of colleges that admits candidates for MBA and allied management programmes based on the scores. Candidates have to enter choices of five business schools where they want to sent the scores. MAT is a standarised test conducted to screen candidates for the management programmes offered by the business schools in India. There are over 600 b-schools that accepts MAT scores conducted in four sessions. Any b-school both national or international can consider MAT score for admission.
