The MP MBA Admission 2016 against M.P. domiciled candidate seats, All India Seats, J&K Resident/ Migrant Seats will be done on the basis of AICTE CMAT 2016 exam score. The candidates who will qualify this exam will be the only ones who will be considered for the admissions. No specific state MBA entrance test is conducted in the state of Madhya Pradesh. MBA Admissions shall be done through Counselling on the basis of the common ranking list declared by AICTE.
In the counselling process, the original documents will be required to be produced by the candidates for the purpose of verification. Thereafter counselling process will be undertaken and it may be held for few rounds. If the seats remains vacant after the first round of counselling held on the basis of merit CMAT then the decision regarding holding of second round of counselling either separately on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test and/or simultaneously with the counselling on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination shall be taken by the competent authority keeping in view the number of vacant seats for a particular course and approximate number of candidates willing for admission. The MBA admission against the NRI seats shall be done by the Competent Authority through Centralised Counselling for those institutions, which would have got permission from Appropriate Authority to fill 5% of the sanctioned intake by NRI candidates only. These seats shall be filled as per the procedure and schedule notified by competent authority and any remaining vacant seats shall be filled by centralised counselling after merging them into MP domiciled seats.
In the counselling of MP domiciled seats, first candidates of reserved categories shall be called in the following order, so that vacant reserved seats can be mutually converted - Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Tribes/Scheduled Castes.

The candidates of reserved category who will find place in the merit list of unreserved category will also be considered in the allotment of seats under unreserved category. They will be given seat of their preference from reserved or unreserved category in which they are getting better choice. Such candidates of reserved category who are allotted seats from unreserved category shall be counted in the unreserved category.
In the counselling of qualifying examination all the available seats shall be presumed to be under unreserved seats and the allotment shall be made accordingly on the basis of a joint merit list of candidates of all categories.
If after conduct of various round of MP MBA counselling, the seats will still remain vacant, then they shall be filled at the institutional level as mentioned in the Admission Rules-2008 (As amended) and/or counselling procedure declared by the Competent Authority.

All the candidates should know that the admissions will be given to only those candidates who are eligible as per the norms released by the exam bodies. The candidates who apply for the MBA admissions in MP despite being ineligible for the same will be rejected and the fee submitted by them till the stage of rejection will be forfeited. The MP MBA Eligibility Criteria is as follow -
The candidates should be an Indian National. Also must be the domicile of Madhya Pradesh state.
The general category candidates are required to have at least 50% marks in graduation and the percentage has been reduced to 45% for the candidates of ST, SC and OBC categories for admission to MBA and Allied courses.
The Bachelor's degree of the candidates should be from any UGC/AICTE approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or institute recognized by the concerned University as equivalent thereto.
To be eligible for the MP MBA 2016 Admissions the candidates need to have completed at least three years of graduation degree course after the formal school education of 12 years.
Apart from all these norms of admissions, the candidates need to be eligible as per the norms of CMAT exam and must have qualified CMAT 2016.
The candidates who are currently in the final year of their graduation program are also eligible for the admissions. They can also appear in the CMAT 2016-17 test on provisional basis. These candidates will be required to submit their final result scores at the time of admissions.
The counselling will be done for all the candidates who would have applied for the admissions and have qualified the CMAT 2016 Exam. After the online registration, the choice filling and locking will mark the beginning of the counselling process. The choices submitted by the candidates will be analysed and the first round of seat allotment will be terminated with the declaration of the results. The candidates who wish to take the seats allotted in the first round of Admissions of MP MBA 2016 should complete the formalities such as the Document Verification and fee submission. The others will have to join the next round of admissions. The process will continue till the last round of MP MBA 2016 Admissions.
The application submission will begin with the online registration which will comprise of submitting the following details in the online form:

After the submission of the basic details, the candidates will be sent username and password on their email ID or mobile number. They have to now fill in the other required details in the online form.
The details may include:
Address for communication and the permanent address
Academic Details of Class X and XII
CMAT Scores and Roll Number etc.
The next step in the submission of the form for the MP MBA 2016 Admissions will be the fee remission.
Then, the candidates will be allotted a unique number which will be called as the application number which will be the permanent reference of all the candidates for the admissions process.
Finally, the candidates will have to verify all the details filled by them in the application form and submit it. The candidates will seek admission into Top MBA colleges in the state of Madhya Pradesh only after going through this counseling process.
