NMAT Result 2018 – Details mentioned

The result of NMAT 2018 will provide the following details –

  • Scaled score of each section.
  • Total score.
  • Percentile ranking.

NMAT Result 2018 – Scaled & Percentile Scores

As mentioned above, the result of NMAT 2018 will provide the candidates scaled and percentile score. To know NMAT Scaled score and percentile score, check below –

  • Scaled Scores: The scaled scores are prepared after normalising the marks obtained by the candidates. These scores are equated to account any differences in the overall difficulty level. This process is applied to check the scores are comparable across the different sets of question papers.
  • Final Percentile: The final percentile is prepared after the candidates have completed appearing for NMAT by GMAC examination. The scorecard sent to schools will be updated with the announcement of the result.

NMAT Result 2018

The test will be held in a Computer-based mode from October 05 to December 18, 2018. The NMAT result will be available online and will provide the scores and percentile obtained by the candidate. Some important points regarding the NMAT result 2018 are as follows –

  • With the announcement of the result, GMAC will send an email regarding the result. However, no hard copy of the NMAT score card will be sent via post or courier.
  • After the release of NMAT result, cutoff scores will be announced by the participating institutes. Based on the candidate’s score, they will be shortlisted for the counselling rounds. Each Institute will have their own NMAT cutoff scores.
  • It is important for the candidates to secure the required overall and sectional cutoff score.
  • The NMAT scorecard 2018 will be valid for this particular session only.

NMAT Cutoff 2018

The cutoff scores are the minimum marks that candidates must obtain to get shortlisted for the counselling rounds. These cutoff scores are prepared on the basis of various factors, such as the total number of test takers, difficulty level of test, seats available, etc. Each of the participating institutes will issue their own NMAT cutoff scores. It must be noted that the cut off marks will vary Institute-wise and category-wise. Candidates can expect the NMAT 2018 cutoff scores to be similar to that of previous year.
