OJEE MBA 2017 – The result for the MBA entrance exam of Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2017 has been announced. OJEE MBA 2017 result was announced on May 31, 2017 and it is available online only. To download the OJEE 2017 MBA rank card, candidates can click on the link provided below and enter their roll number. The exam body will not be sending the rank card to the registered address of the candidates. The entrance test was held on May 14 in offline mode for admission to 5489 seats of 67 Institutes (approx.). Based on the candidate’s score and rank, they will be shortlisted for the counselling rounds. Before applying for OJEE MBA 2017, the applicants must go through the eligibility norms to ensure that they are eligible to take this entrance test. Only the eligible candidates must proceed with the application form filling as ineligible ones will be disqualified at a later stage. The eligibility criteria for OJEE MBA is as follow –
- No age limit to appear in the exam.
- The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.
The candidate should have either passed or appearing in 2017 for the Bachelor’s Degree examination. Duration of this degree should be minimum three years.The degree should be possessed from any University of Odisha or from a recognized University as defined by UGC/AICTE.
Should have passed or appearing in 2017 for the Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy examination. Duration of this degree should be minimum four/five years in any discipline. Also, it should be from any University of Odisha or from a recognized University as defined by UGC/AICTE.
It is important for the candidates to fill in and submit the application form before the end date. If the candidates fail to submit the application form, then they won’t be able to write the test. Also, while filling in the application form of OJEE MBA, the candidates must make sure that the entered details are error free. Any error in the application form may disqualify the candidate.

OJEE MBA Application Fee 2017
For completing the application procedure, the candidates will have to pay a non-refundable application fee. The table below provides the amount of the registration fee and its mode of payment.

The OJEE MBA 2017 hall ticket was released on April 19, a day before the actual release date. It will be available online till April 25, 2017 for all the duly registered candidates to download. The admit card will not be sent through post or email to any of the candidates. The details such as name, roll number, category, date of exam, details of allotted exam centre and more are mentioned on the hall ticket. No candidate will be allowed to sit for the test if they will fail to furnish the valid OJEE MBA 2017 admit card on the date of the exam.
Two copies of the downloaded admit card must be printed and must be carried to the test centre for seeking entry into it. Both these copies must be signed by the invigilator, one of the OJEE MBA admit card should be submitted at the exam centre and the other must be retained by the candidate till the conclusion of the admission process.
It is pen-paper based test. A total of 120 questions will be asked and the paper shall have 5 sections. The candidates will be given 2 hours (09.00 AM to 11.00 AM) for attempting the test. The details of the sections and the number of questions that will be asked in each section is tabled below.

The answer key provides the answers to the questions which are asked in the test. The source of the answer key can be official and unofficial. The OJEE MBA 2017 official answer key will be released in a week after the conduct of exam. However, the unofficial answer key of OJEE MBA 2017 is expected to be available after few hours of the completion of the test. The candidates can download the answer key and match their attempted answer from the answers given in the keys. Also, they can estimate their score using the answer key.
OJEE MBA 2017 result was announced on May 31 and was available online. The result furnished the rank secured by the candidates in the test. The hard copy of the scorecard will not be sent through post individually to the candidates.
The candidates desirous of knowing subject-wise marks secured by them will be required to make a request enclosing a demand draft of Rs. 400/- in favour of “OJEE-2017” drawn on any Nationalised Bank at Bhubaneswar. This request and the DD must reach the OJEE office within 10 days of the publication of result.
OJEE MBA 2017 Cutoff
The Colleges/Universities accepting OJEE MBA 2017 score for granting MBA admission will be determined individually by them after the announcement of result of this entrance test. The cutoff is basically the minimum marks decided by the colleges, based on which the candidates are shortlisted for the further selection rounds. To get placed in the merit list, it is important for the candidates to qualify OJEE MBA 2017 and also to clear the cutoff. At the time of counselling, the OJEE MBA cutoff 2017 will be published for each round and for every category of candidates.
The candidates qualifying OJEE MBA 2017 will only be considered eligible to participate in the counselling. A merit list will be prepared after the announcement of the OJEE MBA 2017 result and according to this list, the candidates will be called to attend the counselling. The final admissions will strictly be granted on the basis of merit. The official notification along with the seat matrix regarding the OJEE MBA 2017 counselling is expected to be released in June-July 2017. Various rounds will be conducted for the counselling and the process basically comprises of registration, document verification, seat allotment and completing formalities related to final admission.
