OJEE MBA 2018: Odisha Joint Entrance Examination or OJEE MBA 2018 is a joint entrance examination conducted by Odisha Joint Examination Board (OJEB) for admission to MBA courses in various business schools across Odisha. OJEE MBA 2018 is expected to be held in the second week of May 2018 across 21 exam centres in Odisha in the pen-paper mode for admission to around 5900 MBA seats of 74 participating institutes. The online application form of OJEE MBA 2018 will be made available in the first week of February. Candidates who have passed or are appearing for the Bachelors examination from a recognised university are eligible to appear for OJEE MBA 2018. As per OJEE MBA exam pattern, there will be a total of 120 questions based from Verbal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Comprehension, Computer and Business Fundamentals and General Knowledge. Candidates appearing for OJEE MBA 2018 must fulfil the OJEE MBA eligibility criteria as specified by the conducting body OJEB. Candidates should have passed Bachelors with at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) or are appearing for Bachelors from a recognised university approved by UGC/AICTE are eligible to sit for OJEE MBA 2018 exam.
OJEE MBA 2018 reservation of seats would be based on the guidelines issued by the government of Odisha. Reservation of seats are made in favour of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled tribe, Other Backward Classes, Citizens of Odisha, PwDs, Green Card holders and Women Candidates. Candidates belonging to reserved categories need to submit category-specific documents issued by the concerned Tehsildar at the time of document verification.

The application form of OJEE MBA 2018 is likely to be available from the first week of February. The registration process of OJEE MBA 2018 is a five-step process.

OJEE MBA 2018 will be held across 21 OJEE MBA exam centres 2018. While filling the application form, candidates have to choose OJEE MBA 2018 exam city as per their convenience while filling the application form The address of the exam centre of OJEE MBA 2018 will be mentioned on the admit card. The allocation of OJEE MBA exam centres will be done by OJEB.
The OJEE MBA 2018 admit card 2018 is likely to be available online in the third week of April and can be downloaded by entering application number and password. OJEB will issue the OJEE MBA admit card 2018 online for all successfully registered candidates.OJEE admit card will have all the details about the exam such as date and time, roll number, address of exam centre and exam day guidelines.
As per the exam pattern of the OJEE MBA 2018 defined by OJEB, the entrance exam will be held in the offline i.e pen-paper mode. There are 120 questions and the paper has 5 sections. Questions in OJEE MBA 2018 exam will be based on the syllabus provided by OJEB. Candidates have to study topics from Verbal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Comprehension, Computer and Business Fundamentals and General Knowledge. In Verbal Reasoning there will be questions based on Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion etc. Analytical reasoning comprises Selection criteria, Direction, Sequential Coding etc. In Computer and Business Fundamentals there will be questions from Basic Computer and Basic Fundamentals of Business whereas in General Knowledge there will be questions from General Awareness and Current

OJEE MBA 2018 result is expected to be declared online in the last week of May. Candidates qualifying in the OJEE MBA exam will be assigned ranks. The hard copy of the scorecard will not be sent through post individually to candidates. In case of any discrepancies found in the result, candidates can submit their objections within 10 days of publication of the result.
OJEE MBA 2018 cutoff will be announced by OJEE committee along with the result. All the institutes participating in OJEE MBA 2018 will release their individual cutoff. To get placed in the merit list, it is important for candidates to qualify OJEE MBA 2018 and also to clear the cutoff.
The OJEB is expected to start the counselling of OJEE MBA 2018 either in June or July. Candidates who qualify the OJEE MBA exam will be called for counselling as per their ranks in the exam. The final selections will strictly be made on the basis of merit. The process of counselling comprises registration, document verification, seat allotment and completing formalities related to final admission.
OJEE MBA seat allotment will be done on the basis of merit, preference of students and availability of seats in the respective institutes during online counselling conducted by OJEB. The course-wise and institute-wise seat availability will be published online before counselling. Once the seats are allotted candidates have to visit OJEE MBA 2018 reporting centres to accept their seats and then they have to report to their respective institute and complete admission formalities.
There are a total number of 74 participating institutions of OJEE MBA. Out of these 74 institutions,10 are government colleges and the rest 64 are private colleges. On the basis of merit around 5,900 seats of OJEE MBA participating institutions are to be filled by candidates who qualify the OJEE MBA 2018 exam.
