ts icet exam patternTS ICET Exam Pattern 2018: The exam pattern of TS ICET has been prescribed by Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for candidates to get an idea about the overall structure of exam. According to TS ICET exam pattern, the test comprises three sections Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability and Communication Ability. The question paper will be divided into three sections – A, B and C. There will be 200 objective type questions which has to be answered within 150 minutes. According to TS ICET marking scheme, candidates for correct answer will get 1 mark while no marks will be deducted for wrong answers. TS ICET 2018 is expected to be conducted in May. This year, the exam will be held online according to the officials which earlier was held in pen and paper mode. Candidates can check below for more details on TS ICET exam pattern.

TS ICET Exam Pattern

TS ICET 2018 evaluates candidate’s ability to think logically, use of verbal ability, mathematically skills and aptitude. Candidates to ace the exam should focus on aptitude. The exam will be conducted in single session from 10 am to 12.30 pm. TS ICET is an objective type test held for 200 marks. The details of TS ICET exam pattern is given in the table below.

Section A (Analytical Ability)

Analytical Ability comprises two parts - Data Sufficiency and Problem Solving. The marks allotted for this section is 75. The distribution of marks and questions is given in the table.

Section B (Mathematical Ability)

This section is divided into three sub-sections - Arithmetical Ability, Algebraical and Geometrical Ability and Statistical Ability. Candidates will get total 75 questions from Mathematical Ability. Section C (Communication Ability)

Communication ability assess candidate’s ability to identify vocabulary, functional use of grammar and basic terminalogies and concepts. This section includes -Vocabulary, Business and Computer terminology, Functional Grammar and Reading Comprehension. There will be total 50 questions and marks allotted for this section is 50.

TS ICET Marking Scheme

Along with the TS ICET exam pattern, the exam conducting authority has defined the marking scheme. Candidates have to follow the marking scheme while calculating their probable score after checking TS ICET answer key if it is released. TS ICET Syllabus 2018

TS ICET syllabus comprises topics from Data Sufficiency, Problem Solving, Arithmetical Ability, Algebraical and Geometrical Ability, Statistical Ability, Vocabulary, Business and Computer Terminology, Functional Grammar and Reading Comprehension. About TS ICET 2018

TS ICET is conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of TSCHE. The test is conducted for admission to management programmes offered by the colleges and universities in Telangana. The qualifying marks for TSICET 2018 is 25% for general and OBC category and no minimum marks have been prescribed for SC/ST candidates.
