JEE Main 2018

JEE Main 2018 - The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started registration for JEE Main 2018 from December 1. Candidates seeking admission to 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 20 GFTIs and 23 IITs of the country have to fill and submit JEE Main application form on or before January 1, 2018. JEE Main comprises of two papers- paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) and paper 2 (B.Arch./B.Plan.) CBSE will conduct JEE Main 2018 paper 1 and paper 2 in pen and paper based mode on April 8. While the computer-based test of JEE Main paper 1 will be held on April 15 and 16, 2018. Candidates who have passed or are studying in class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their main subjects are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2018. It is mandatory for candidates, except those from Assam, Meghalaya and J&K, to mention their Aadhaar details while registering for the exam. Admission at the 23 IITs is done on the basis of JEE Advanced score which can be taken only by those who qualify JEE Main 2018. Many state government, as well as private technical colleges also accept JEE Main score for admission to various undergraduate engineering programmes. JEE Main is one of the most sought-after B. Tech/B.E. and B.Arch/B.Plan entrance exam of India which is attempted by more than 10 lakh candidates. JEE Main Important Dates 2018

CBSE has announced JEE Main important dates 2018. The application form of JEE Main has been made available online from December 1 to January 1, 2018. JEE 2018 is scheduled to be held on April 8 in offline mode while the online test to be held on April 15 & 16. Candidates can check JEE Main 2018 important dates from the table given below.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2018

Candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria while applying for JEE Main 2018. Candidates are advised to read the eligibility of JEE Main 2018 so that they can they know age criteria, qualifications and marks required for the qualifying exam.   • Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1993 are eligible for JEE Main 2018
  • Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PwD candidates who are born on or after October 01, 1988 are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2018

Upper age-limit for JEE Main 2018

  • Unreserved Category: 25 years
  • Reserved Category: 30 years

Year of appearance in qualifying examination (QE) i.e. 10+2/HSC

  • Candidates must have passed their class 12 or equivalent examination in 2016 or 2017. Those who are appearing Class 12 exam or any equivalent exam in 2018 are also eligible to appear in JEE Main 2018

Number of subjects required in 10+2 for appearing in JEE Main 2018

  • Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12/qualifying examination The candidates who have taken four subjects are not permitted for JEE Main 2018

Is Aadhaar card required for JEE Main 2018?

The Aadhaar card number is necessary to apply for JEE Main 2018. This requirement was introduced and executed from 2017. However, the Aadhaar number requirement has been waived off for candidates belonging to Jammu & Kashmir, Assam and Meghalaya.


JEE Main Application Form 2018

CBSE has activated the facility to correct images in JEE Main application form 2018. The online registration has started from December 1, 2017. JEE Main application form 2018 involves five basic steps such as registration, filling details in the form, uploading of scanned images, application fee payment and print out of acknowledgement slip. Before filling JEE Main 2018 application form, candidates must be ready with all the required details and scanned images. Check the five-stage procedure for JEE Main application form below:

  1. JEE Main Registration 2018 On the registration page, candidates have to enter basic information such as name, date of birth, gender, nationality, state of eligibility etc.
  2. Filling up of JEE Main Application Form On JEE Main 2018 application page, candidates must enter JEE Main exam related details, personal information, qualifying exam details etc. Applicants also have to choose a password and security question.
  3. Uploading of Scanned Images Applicants have to upload scanned images of their passport-sized photograph and signature. The format of the scanned images must match the given specification or else it will get rejected.
  4. Payment of Application Fee Candidates have to pay the prescribed JEE Main application fee online or through e-challan.
  5. Print out of Acknowledgement Slip -After successful fee payment, applicants have to download and take a print out of the acknowledgement slip and keep it safe for future reference.

JEE Main Reservation of Seats 2018

As per the rules laid by the Government of India, a certain number of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to OBC- NCL, SC, ST and PwD, in various institutes based on relaxed criteria. Candidates can check category wise JEE Main seat reservation from the table given below:

JEE Main Exam Centres 2018

JEE Main 2018 will be conducted in around 248 cities across India and 10 foreign cities. Candidates have to opt for JEE Main exam city as per their convenience while filling the application form. Candidates appearing in the offline mode will be allowed to choose four exam cities while for the computer-based test candidates have to choose only one city. JEE Main Exam Pattern 2018

The exam pattern of JEE Main 2018 consist details about the overall structure of the entrance test. JEE Main Mock Test 2018

The mock test of JEE Main 2018 has been made available by CBSE. Candidates appearing for JEE Main in the Computer-Based mode must take the mock test to get familiar with the test pattern. Also, after every test, the aspirants must analyse their answers to check their preparation level.


JEE Main Answer Key 2018

JEE Main official answer key will be available online  along with the OMR sheet from April 24 to 27, 2018. Candidate can also challenge the official answer key within the given period of time. The answer key of JEE Main 2018 will be released by various coaching institutes such as Aakash, FIITJEE, Resonance, Career Point etc. after the completion of the exam. The answer key will help candidates to crosscheck their response and predict the score that they might obtain in the entrance examination.


JEE Main Result 2018

The result of JEE Main will be declared separately for paper 1 and paper 2. JEE Main paper 1 result will be announced on April 30, 2018. Whereas the result of JEE Main for paper 2 will be released on May 31, 2018. The result for both the papers will be available online and no hard copy will be sent to the test takers. Along with the subject wise and overall score, the result will also display candidates JEE Main All India Rank (AIR) and their category rank. Candidates must note that the JEE Main 2018 All India Rank will be used by JoSAA for admissions while other ranks are for information purpose only.


JEE Main Cutoff 2018

CBSE will release the cutoff of JEE Main 2018 along with the result. JEE Main cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to obtain to be eligible for JEE Advanced. However, obtaining the minimum cutoff marks does not always guarantee a chance to get shortlisted for JEE Advanced. Another set of JEE Main 2018 cutoff in the form of opening and closing rank will be published by JoSAA based on which seats will be allotted.

JEE Main Participating Institutes 2018

JEE Main is conducted for admission into various undergraduate engineering institutes affiliated with it. The participating institutes of JEE Main 2018 include 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), 23 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and 20 Government Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs). There are many other institutes as well as states like Gujarat, Haryana, Nagaland, Uttarakhand etc. that fill their seats through JEE Main score/rank list.

JEE Main Counselling 2018

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is the responsible authority for conducting the counselling of JEE Main. JEE Main counselling will be held in seven rounds on the basis of opening and closing rank declared by the respective institutes. Candidates who have qualified JEE Main and secured a rank have to apply separately to participate in the counselling of JoSAA and select their choices of institutes and courses as per their preference.

JEE Main Seat Allotment 2018

The seat allotment of JEE Main 2018 will be conducted online by JoSAA. After registration and choice filling, candidates have to appear in two mock seat allotment in order to lock in their best choices. After each round of JEE Main counselling, candidates will be allotted seats based on their rank, choice preferences and availability of seats. JEE Main seat allotment result along with the seat vacancy report for each round will be declared online. To confirm a seat, candidates should visit their respective reporting centres for document verification and pay the requisite fee.

Tripura JEE 2018Tripura JEE 2018 - The Tripura Joint Entrance Examination is conducted by Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) for admission to first-year undergraduate engineering programmes. Tripura JEE is expected to be held at ten centres in 5 cities of Tripura in the first week of May 2018. Tripura JEE Eligibility Criteria 2018

Candidates have to fulfill all the requirements stated in Tripura JEE eligibility criteria 2018 to be eligible for the entrance test. Candidates can check TJEE eligibility criteria below:

  1. Nationality/ domicile- Candidates must be a citizen of India and permanent resident of Tripura.
  2. Academic qualification- Candidates must have passed class 12 or any equivalent examination with subjects they wish to appear in the joint entrance test. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible for the entrance exam.
  3. Children of All India Services Officers- Wards of All India Services Officers born in Manipur- Tripura Cadre and the Children of the Employees of the State Government posted outside Tripura are eligible for Tripura JEE irrespective of their prior stay in Tripura.
  4. Candidates who are not a permanent resident- Candidates who are not a permanent resident of Tripura but whose either or both parents have been working as officers at Central Government continuously for three years can apply for TJEE 2018 provided they have passed or are going to appear in Higher Secondary Examination from Tripura.
  5. Wards of Ex-Servicemen- As per Tripura JEE eligibility criteria, the applicant or their parents must be staying in Tripura for not less than five years continuously. Candidate must have passed or appeared/due to appear at the 10+2 examination from any legally recognised institution of India.

 


Tripura JEE Application Form 2018

The application form of Tripura JEE 2018 will be released in the first week of February in online as well as offline mode. Students can obtain Tripura JEE application form 2018 in person from the office of TJEE, by post or from designated colleges. Candidates can also download the application form of Tripura JEE online. The cost of the application fee is Rs. 100 while the examination fee varies category wise. Candidates must ensure that the filled in Tripura JEE 2018 application form reaches the office on or before the last date for submission.


Tripura JEE Admit Card 2018

The admit card of Tripura JEE will be dispatched to registered candidates in the third week of March 2018. Tripura JEE admit card will be sent by post to only those applicants who will enclose the printed envelope supplied with application form after writing their postal address and affixing postal stamp of Rs. 5. TJEE admit card will have the name of the exam centre allotted to candidates along with their personal information. Candidates must ensure that they receive the admit card of Tripura JEE 2018 as without it no student will be allowed to sit for the exam.


Tripura JEE Exam Centres 2018

There are ten exam centres of Tripura JEE where TBJEE will conduct the entrance exam. Tripura JEE exam centres will be located in Agartala, Udaipur, Ambassa, Kailashahar and Dharmanagar. Applicants have to indicate the choice of TJEE exam centre at the time of filling the application form. Request for change in Tripura JEE exam centre allocated by the Board will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Tripura JEE Syllabus 2018

The syllabus of Tripura JEE is prescribed for candidates appearing in the entrance examination. Tripura JEE syllabus 2018 consist topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics that candidates need to study for the exam. Tripura JEE Merit List 2018

The merit list of Tripura JEE 2018 will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in Tripura JEE 2018. Tripura JEE merit list will contain the merit position of the candidates who appeared in the entrance examination. Admission to the participating institutes will be done as per the ranks of candidates in TJEE merit list.


Tripura JEE Cutoff 2018

Tripura JEE 2018 cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to obtain for admission. Selection of candidates for admission to a particular course in a certain institute will be done only if they secure TJEE cutoff. Usually, Tripura JEE does not release any cutoff. In case, any specific college or university declare TJEE 2018 cutoff it will be updated here.

Tripura JEE Counselling and Seat Allotment 2018

TBJEE will conduct the counselling of Tripura JEE for the qualified and eligible candidates in June 2018. AEEE 2018 is a university level entrance examination for admission to B.Tech courses. AEEE is conducted both in the Computer Based Test (CBT) and Pen-Paper Based Test (P&P) mode, and candidates can choose either mode as per their choice. AEEE Eligibility Criteria 2018

Amrita University has laid down some norms that candidates have to fulfill for admission to B.Tech courses. Check AEEE 2018 eligibility requirements of age and education qualification below:

  • Age requirement- The candidates birth date must fall on or after July 1, 1997.
  • Academic qualification - Candidates who have passed class 12 with at least aggregate 60% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, while not scoring less than 55% any of the subjects, are eligible to apply and so are those appearing for class 12exam.

AEEE Application Form 2018

AEEE application form 2018 is available in both offline and online mode. To apply for the entrance examination candidates have to fill AEEE application form 2018. The prescribed application fee for AEEE 2018 is Rs. 1000. Candidates can apply through either of the modes.

Offline AEEE Application Form 2018

Students can obtain the offline AEEE application form against cash or demand draft from the university or selected AEEE application sale outlets. The filled-in AEEE application has to be sent to the admissions coordinator of the university and ensure that it reaches within the specified time period.


AEEE Exam Centres 2018

The exam centres of AEEE are the venues where candidates have to appear for the entrance exam. Amrita University will conduct AEEE 2018 in the CBT mode in around 96 cities across the country. Candidates applying for the offline mode have to choose two cities while for the CBT mode, three preference of exam city must be selected while filling the application form. The complete address of AEEE exam centre allotted to candidates will be mentioned in the admit card.


AEEE Slot Booking 2018

Candidates appearing for AEEE 2018 in CBT mode have to book their test centre, date and time slot through AEEE slot booking in April 2018. Candidates can book their slot online by logging in with their application number and date of birth. AEEE slot booking 2018 will be done on a first-come-first-serve-basis. Once a slot is booked it cannot be changed under any circumstances. Once the slot booking is confirmed, candidates will be able to take a print out of the admit card.


AEEE Admit Card 2018

AEEE admit card will be issued to candidates who have submitted their application form. Candidates can download their AEEE hall ticket by entering their email ID/application number and date of birth. AEEE admit card will consist the name and registration number of the candidate, exam date, address of the exam centre allotted to the candidate, etc. Candidates must retain AEEE hall ticket after the examination and produce it at the time of counselling.


AEEE Exam Pattern 2018

As per AEEE exam pattern 2018, Amrita university will conduct the entrance test in the offline and CBT mode. Students can take the test in either of the mode as per their preference. Candidates have to attempt questions from three sections- Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry and complete the paper in two and half hours. There will be 100 multiple choice questions with total marks of 300. For every correct response, 3 marks will be awarded. Candidates must mark an answer only if they sure as incorrect response will lead to negative marking.

AEEE Syllabus 2018

AEEE syllabus is prescribed by Amrita University and it is based on subjects covered in class 11 and 12. The syllabus consists topics from three subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Questions in the exam will be based on the prescribed AEEE syllabus. Candidates who are interested in appearing for AEEE must cover all the topics prescribed in the syllabus to obtain good marks in the entrance test.


AEEE Sample Papers 2018

Candidates preparing for AEEE 2018 must practice from its sample papers for a more effective preparation. The structure of AEEE sample papers is similar to the question paper of the actual exam and, hence, will help candidates to get acquainted with the nature of questions. After being done with the prescribed syllabus, candidates must practice questions from the sample papers of AEEE to analyse their level of preparation.


AEEE Answer Key 2018

The answer key of AEEE will consist correct answers to questions asked in the entrance examination. With the help of AEEE answer key 2018, candidates can cross check their responses and calculate the probable score might obtain in the examination. Through AEEE answer key candidates can analyse their performance and know their chances of qualifying the exam for admission in the university.


AEEE Result 2018

Amrita University will announce the result of AEEEon May 5, 2018. AEEE result will be available only in the online mode and candidates can download it through their registration number, date of birth and captcha. Based on the scores obtained by candidates in AEEE 2018, a rank list will be prepared. Along with the result, AEEE rank list will also be published online.


AEEE Cutoff 2018

After the declaration of result, Amrita university will release AEEE cutoff 2018 in the form of closing rank. AEEE cutoff will be released for each of the four campuses of the university. The cutoff will be released category wise and it will be different for each B.Tech course. Candidates obtaining a rank within AEEE cut off range declared by the university will be shortlisted for the counselling and seat allotment process.


AEEE Counselling 2018

The counselling of AEEE is likely to be held in the first week of June 2018. The entire schedule of AEEE counselling 2018 will be released along with the rank list. The counselling will be conducted in three campuses namely Amritapuri, Coimbatore and Bengaluru. Candidates have to download their call letter and appear for counselling in any of the three campuses, choose a course as per their preference and submit their documents for verification. Candidates also have to pay the counselling charges of Rs. 10,000 by demand draft.


AEEE Seat Allotment 2018

AEEE 2018 seat allotment will be done only after verification of documents. Seats will be confirmed only after the payment of the requisite tuition fee and completion of all other formalities within the given period of time. The course wise seat availability in the four campuses after every round of counselling will be available online.

MHT CET Eligibility Criteria 2018

DTE Maharashtra has laid down some norms that candidates need to fulfill to appear in MHT CET 2018. Check MHT CET eligibility criteria such as nationality and qualification requirements below:

Nationality- Candidates who are citizens of India are eligible for MHT CET 2018.

Academic qualification- Candidates must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent examination with mathematics and physics as the main subjects along with Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Vocational subjects as an option subject.

Minimum qualifying marks- Candidates must secure at least 50% in the subjects taken together.


MHT CET Application Form 2018

The application form of MHT CET 2018 will be available in the second week of February. The entire application procedure will be carried out in the online mode. MHT CET Exam Centres 2018

MHT CET 2018 is likely to be conducted at all the 36 district headquarters of Maharashtra. Candidates belonging to the state will be allotted MHT CET exam centre within the same district from where they have passed or appearing class 12 or equivalent examination. While students passing the qualifying examination from outside the state have to select exam city choice at the time of filling the application form. Request for change in MHT CET exam centre allotted to candidates will not be entertained under any circumstances.


MHT CET Admit Card 2018

The MHT CET Admit Card will be issued to registered candidates in the fourth week of April 2018. MHT CET admit card will be released online and to download it candidates have to log in with their application number, password and security key. The admit card of MHT CET 2018 will not be sent through post or any other medium. MHT CET 2018 admit card will bear the name and address of the exam venue, exam schedule, candidates personal details and exam day guidelines. Candidates have to carry MHT CET admit card along with a photo identity proof in original to the exam centre for verification. Candidates must ensure to retain the print out of MHT CET admit card 2018 until the completion of the admission process.


MHT CET Exam Pattern 2018

The Exam Pattern of MHT CET gives an insight into the pattern of the question paper such as the duration, total marks, no. of papers, etc. As per MHT CET 2018 exam pattern, the duration of the exam is 150 minutes. DTE Maharashtra has also notified that the difficulty level of MHT CET 2018 will be at par with JEE Main. There will be no negative marking for any incorrect response. MHT CET Syllabus 2018

The syllabus of MHT CET 2018 is based on class XI and XII syllabus prescribed by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. MHT CET syllabus includes topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics that candidates have to study for the examination. DTE Maharashtra has announced that while setting the question paper, 80% weightage will be given to class 12 curriculum while 20% weightage will be given to class 11 curriculum. Candidates appearing in MHT CET 2018 must thoroughly cover the prescribed syllabus to score well in the exam.


MHT CET Sample Papers 2018

Candidates seeking admission in B.E./B.Tech courses through MHT CET 2018 are advised to solve sample papers. Solving MHT CET sample papers will make aspirants acquainted to the test pattern. MHT CET Merit List 2018

DTE Maharashtra will release provisional merit list of MHT CET 2018 in the third week of May. MHT CET merit list will be prepared on the basis of score obtained by candidates in the entrance test. Candidates can check the provisional merit list through their application number and date of birth. After the publication of the provisional merit list candidates will be allowed to submit grievances if any. The final merit list will be published in the fourth week of June. MHT CET Cutoff 2018

The cutoff of MHT CET will be published online by DTE Maharashtra in pdf file format. MHT CET cut off will be released separately for Maharashtra (MH) and All India (AI) category seats. MHT CET cutoff list includes merit, choice code, name of the institute, course name, exam name etc. The cutoff of MHT CET 2018 will be based on various factors like availability of seat, the difficulty level of examination, total no. of students etc. Only the candidates who meet the cutoff set by the institutes for different courses will be able to take admission.


MHT CET Counselling 2018

The counselling of MHT CET will be done on the basis of the merit list. DTE Maharashtra will invite applications from qualified candidates for MHT CET counselling. The online registration for MHT CET counselling will start in the first week of June 2018. During MHT CET 2018 counselling candidates have to submit necessary documents for verification. Only the candidates who successfully verify their documents and fulfill eligibility norms will be allotted seats in the engineering courses.

Candidates have to choose two centres in order of their preference at the time of applying for MU OET. The complete address of MU OET exam centre will be mentioned on the admit card.


MU OET Slot Booking 2018

The facility to book MU OET slot will be available online in March 2018. For the booking, applicants have to login with their application number and password. Through the online test booking system, candidates will be able to reserve a test centre, date and slot for the entrance test. Candidates have to book their venue for the counselling from the list of centres available at the time of slot booking. It is mandatory for all registered candidates to book their respective slots as the hall ticket will be issued only after MU OET slot booking is successfully done.


MU OET Admit Card 2018

The admit card will be generated online 24 hours after candidates have booked their slots. To download MU OET admit card, candidates have to enter their application number and online test booking password. A copy of the e-hall ticket will also be emailed to the email ID registered at the time of filling MU OET application form. MU OET hall ticket will include the programme that candidates have applied for, address of exam centre, date and time of the test.


MU OET Exam Pattern 2018

As per the exam pattern of MU OET candidates have to attempt 200 objective type question in 2 hours 30 minutes. The questions will be asked from four sections- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and General English. A correct answer will be awarded one mark while there is no negative marking for incorrect responses. Candidates can take three attempts for the test. In case candidates are not satisfied with their performances in the first attempt they can take a second attempt. In 2017, candidates who were not satisfied with their first two attempts were allowed to take the third attempt.

MU OET Syllabus 2018

The test papers in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and General English will include questions based on the class 12 syllabus followed by major boards/ universities. Each subject has multiple topics and sub topics that candidates must cover to score well in MU OET. Candidates interested in appearing for the entrance test must be well acquainted with MU OET syllabus and study it religiously.


MU OET Sample Papers 2018

The sample paper of MU OET 2018 provides an overview of the structure of the question paper such as marking scheme, syllabus, types of questions asked in the entrance examination. After completing the syllabus prescribed for MU OET, students must solve questions from sample papers to brush the edges and assess their preparation level. It will also help to improve speed, accuracy and time management skills of the candidates. The university usually does not release sample papers or previous years MU OET question papers. However, candidates can practice sample papers similar to the actual test online to get an idea of the questions that can be asked in the exam.


MU OET Answer Key 2018

The answer key of MU OET will comprise correct answers to questions asked in the entrance test. With the use of MU OET answer key, candidates will be able to cross check responses and calculate their probable score. The answer key will let candidates know about their performance in the entrance test and their chances of getting admission into the B.Tech courses offered in the university.


MU OET Result 2018

The result of MU OET for the first and second attempt of the entrance test is expected to be declared in the fourth week of April 2018. While result for the third attempt will be announced in May 2018. Candidates can check MU OET 2018 result through their application number. The result will comprise marks and rank secured by candidates in MU OET 2018. Candidates must take a print out of MU OET rank card and retain it for future reference.


MU OET Cutoff 2018

The cutoff of MU OET is the minimum required rank for admission in the university. MU OET cutoff will be declared for each campus of the university and it will vary course wise. Only those candidates who will obtain the declared cutoff will be eligible for the counselling and seat allotment process.


MU OET Counselling 2018

The counselling of MU OET will start in June 2018. Manipal University will conduct counselling in the offline mode. Qualified candidates have to report in person at any of the three campuses of the university. Also, candidates must carry all the required documents and admission fee to the venue. Seats to eligible candidates will be allotted on the basis of rank obtained in the entrance test.
