Aadhaar Card might be mandatory for UPSEE 2017 as wellReports suggest that just like JEE Main 2017, the Aadhaar Card will be a mandatory acquirement to apply for UPSEE 2017. AKTU, the conducting body of Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination, is yet to make an official announcement. However, official sources have confirmed the requirement.

It is also expected that UPSEE 2017 will be held on April 16, 2017, and the registration for it will begin on January 15, 2017. The reported deadline for application is March 24, 2017, and the candidates who will submit the UPSEE 2017 Application Form properly will be able to download the admit card from April 07, 2017.

None of the dates, mentioned above, have been confirmed by the conducting body. Hence, there are chances that it might be pre or postponed. The official notification regarding the examination is expected to release before the 4th week of January 2017. Through it, all the dates and details of the entrance examination will be confirmed.

UPSEE is conducted for the intake of candidates in UG and PG courses, in the colleges affiliated with AKTU. There are almost 841 affiliated colleges and universities which accept the score of the entrance exam and grant admission in engineering, architecture, management, design, fashion, and computer application courses.

The entrance examination will be held in Pen and Paper based mode. The candidates taking the entrance examination will only have three hours to attempt the question paper. Within this duration, the candidates will have to solve 150 multiple choice questions.

The seat allocation will be done during the counselling round. For allocation, the merit of the candidates, along with the submitted preference will be considered.
