Amrita University 2015 Online Exam Commenced today, 16 April

Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) 2015 has commenced today, on 16 April 2016. The exam is being held in online mode and will conclude on 18 April 2015. Everyday, three slots will be held for the exam, which are scheduled as below:

  • Slot 1- From 09:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • Slot 2- From 12:30 p.m. to 03:00 p.m.
  • Slot 3- From 04:00 p.m. to 06:30 p.m.

The University will also conduct an offline exam and it will be held only on 25 April 2015. Also, there is only one slot for the offline paper which will begin at 10 a.m. and will end at 12:30 p.m.

The exam consists of 100 multiple choice questions. Which will cover topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each question will be of 3 marks, making the exam (in all) for 300 marks. Negative marking is applicable, for marking wrong answer. Under it 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

AEEE 2015 is exclusively held for admission of aspirants into undergraduate engineering courses like B.E and B.Tech. Selected candidates will be provided admission into any one of the three campus, which are located in Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore. Courses offered by these campuses are given below:

  • Electronics & Communication Engineering
  • Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

Courses Offered by Coimbatore Campus for Admission are:

  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Computer Science & Engineering
  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering
  • Electronics & Communication Engineering
  • Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

The exam is being conducted in all the 29 states and 7 territories of the nations. In more than 150 cities (approx) exam center has been allocated for candidates convenience. So far no date has been announced for the issuance of result but is expected to be released till Mid-March.
