While filling the application form, candidates are advised to ensure that they meet all requirements stated in AMUEEE eligibility criteria 2018. As per AMUEEE 2018 eligibility criteria, students who have passed the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) from AMU or an equivalent examination can apply for the exam. The minimum marks required in the Qualifying Exam (QE) is 50% in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Students holding a Diploma in Engineering from AMU with 50% are also eligible to appear in AMUEEE 2018. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will conduct AMUEEE 2018 on April 29, 2018 from 10 am to 1 pm. AMUEEE Eligibility Criteria 2018

Candidates need to verify whether they fulfill AMUEEE 2018 eligibility criteria prior to filling the application form. In case they are found ineligible to appear AMUEEE 2018 by the conducting body, their candidature will be cancelled and they will not be able to sit for the exam. AMUEEE Eligibility 2018 for B. Tech./ B. Arch

Date of birth-

  • Candidates must be 24 years of age as on December 31, 2018.
  • Physically challenged candidates will be granted a relaxation of 05 years.

Educational qualification

  • Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics


  • Diploma in Engineering from the same university with at least 50% aggregate.

AMUEEE Eligibility 2018 for B.E. (Evening)

Education qualification

  • Diploma in Engineering in the relevant branch of examination recognized by the university or equivalent examination with 50%.

AMUEEE Eligibility Criteria 2018- Documents required

After successfully filling up the online application form of AMUEEE 2018, candidates are required to take a print out of the form and submit it to AMU along with photocopies of the following documents:

  • Self-attested copies (both sides) of High School / Secondary School Certificate (SSC Examination) proving date of birth.
  • Class X marksheet.
  • Marksheet of QE – if the result is awaited, then marksheet of the preceding year’s final examination is to be sent.
  • Category certificate or Internal Status certificates.
  • Any other relevant documents/ certificates.


AMUEEE is conducted by Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) for candidates seeking admission to B.Tech/B.Arch/B.E.(Evening) programmes offered by the University. The university level engineering entrance examination will be held in the pen and paper based mode. The AMUEEE 2018 question paper contains 150 objective type questions of 1 mark each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. In 2017, around 25,000 candidates applied for AMUEEE out of which nearly 20,000 appeared in it.
