AMUEEE SyllabusAMUEEE Syllabus 2018 - The admission committee of Aligarh Muslim University will be announcing the syllabus for AMUEEE 2018. Candidates must ensure that they go through the syllabus thoroughly so that they do not miss out on any topic. The AMUEEE syllabus 2018 for B.Tech comprises units from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The questions asked in the entrance test will be from class XI and XII basics. Those opting for B.Arch will have to take paper II along with paper I, which is an Architecture Aptitude Test. AMUEEE 2018 syllabus for students opting to pursue B.E. (Evening) courses contains topics from physical sciences and relevant engineering sciences. AMUEEE 2018 is a pen and paper based engineering entrance examination to be conducted by AMU in the last month of April, 2018 for candidates who desire to pursue B.Tech/B.Arch/B.E.(Evening) courses offered by the university. AMUEEE syllabus 2018

Candidates are advised to acquaint themselves with the syllabus of AMUEEE so as to enhance their preparation level for AMUEEE 2018. Detailed description of AMUEEE syllabus 2018 is given below.

AMUEEE syllabus for B.Tech/ B.Arch

AMUEEE applicants opting for B.Tech have to appear only in paper I whereas those who have chosen B.Tech and B.Arch or B.Tech only have to sit for both paper I and II which will be held in different sessions.

Paper I covers topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as detailed in the table below. The paper is of 150 Marks containing 150 questions of 1 mark each.

Paper II- This paper is for B.Arch candidates only. Paper II is an Architecture Aptitude Test where aesthetic sensitivity and drawing aptitude of the candidates will be evaluated. Paper II will involve test of perception, imagination, observation, creativity, presentation and architectural awareness to be presented in visual format. This paper is of total 150 marks.

AMUEEE syllabus for B.E. (Evening)

Candidates opting for B.E (Evening) have to answer a paper of 100 marks where each question will carry 1 mark. There will be 25 questions on Physical Sciences (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) which is compulsory for all branches while 75 questions will be from their respective Engineering Sciences.

Physical Sciences:

Mathematics- Algebra, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, Calculus, Differential Equations, Vector.

Physics- Heating & Chemical effects of current, Thermo-electric effects, SHM, Velocity, acceleration and types of waves, frequency, wave length and wave velocity, diffraction and polarization of waves, Cathodes and X-rays, Radioactivity, Nuclear fusion and fission.

Chemistry- Organic Chemistry, Electrochemistry, pH Value and buffer solution, Corrosion, Alloys, Fuels, Water, Environmental Chemistry and Polymers.

Relevant Engineering Sciences:

Students will be asked to choose one out of three branches included in the B.E. (Evening) programme while filling the application form of AMUEEE 2018. The questions from the Physical Sciences section are compulsory for all. In addition, candidates have to answer 75 questions from their respective Engineering Sciences (branches).

AMUEEE 2018 is a university level engineering entrance examination conducted by Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). The test is held in pen and paper based mode for candidates aspiring to take admission to UG engineering programmes offered by AMU. In 2017, Around 25,000 candidates had applied for the exam while nearly 20,000 appeared in the test.
