AP EAMCET 2017 starts in online mode from April 24AP EAMCET 2017, conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada has started on April 24 in online mode. The exam is held around 156 test centres across 22 cities in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The exam is being conducted in two sessions for each day. The morning session is from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm and the afternoon session starts from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The last date for online examination is April 27.

The AP EAMCET question paper is divided into three sections – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The language medium of the test is in English and Telugu. The exam will be conducted for 3 hours. As per the AP EAMCET exam pattern, the maximum mark of the paper is 160. Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer, whereas, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The result of AP EAMCET to be announced on May 06, 2017, in online mode. After the result announcement, separate rank card will be issued on the basis of which candidates will be granted admission to various undergraduate engineering courses offered by the participating institutes.

The Counselling of AP EMACET 2017 will be conducted in the month of June by JNTU, Kakinada. It will be held in two phases. Only those candidates qualifying in AP EAMCET 2017 will be eligible to participate in the Counselling process. The counselling session includes document verification, submitting of options, modification of choices and final allotment of seats.

The candidates who will appear in the counselling rounds will be granted seats on the basis of their preferences of colleges and courses. All the successful candidates will be offered admission to 6 B.tech courses in around 14 participating institutes of Andhra Pradesh.
