Assam CEE 2018 is a combined entrance examination conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam for admission to various undergraduate engineering programmes in member institutions. Assam CEE 2018 will be held offline in the first week of June, 2018. The application form of Assam CEE 2018 will be available online from the third week of April to the first week of May 2018. As per Assam CEE eligibility criteria 2018, to appear in the exam, candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with 50% (45% for SC and 40% for ST candidates). The question paper will carry 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with 40 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) which have to be answered within a duration of 3 hours. The result of Assam CEE 2018 will be declared in the second week of June 2018. Those qualifying the exam will be called for Assam CEE counselling from the fourth week of June 2018. Assam CEE 2018 will facilitate admission to around 1200 UG engineering seats in participating institutes. Assam CEE Eligibility Criteria 2018

As per the eligibility criteria of Assam CEE 2018, candidates must be permanent residents of Assam apart from being citizens of India. Candidates must be between 17-21 years of age as on August 1, 2018. The upper age limit in case of candidates who have cleared B.Sc. is 22 years. For SC and SC candidates the upper age limit has been relaxed upto 3 years. For admission into B.E. courses, candidates must passed the Qualifying Examination (QE) in the same sitting without any grace marks. Other requirements of QE stated in Assam CEE eligibility criteria 2018 are listed below.

Assam CEE Reservation of Seats 2018

DTE implements reservation of seats for Assam CEE 2018 as per the rules set by Government of Assam. Candidates aspiring to take admission through the exam under Assam CEE 2018 reservation of seats must mention their categories at the time of filling the application form. Assam CEE Admit Card 2018

The Assam CEE 2018 admit card can be downloaded online from the fourth week of May 2018, until the exam day. Candidates have to enter their application number and date of birth in the applicant login window to download the Assam CEE admit card. Assam CEE 2018 hall ticket contains details such as candidate’s name, name and address of exam centre, date and time of exam and so on. Candidates must carry the admit card of Assam CEE 2018 with them on the day of exam.

Assam CEE Syllabus 2018

The syllabus of Assam CEE 2018 lists out the subjects and their units to be covered in the exam. Assam CEE syllabus 2018 comprises units from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) based on NCERT Syllabus adopted by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council. Candidates are advised to go through the Assam CEE 2018 syllabus before starting their preparation for the exam. This will help them organise their preparation time and score better in the exam. Assam CEE Cutoff 2018

Assam CEE 2018 cutoff will help in screening candidates during the admission process. The merit list of Assam CEE 2018 is prepared on the basis of cutoff. Those scoring marks more than or equal to the cutoff of Assam CEE 2018 will be called for counselling. Assam CEE cutoff 2018 for the various categories will be different.


Assam CEE Counselling 2018

DTE will conduct the counselling of Assam CEE 2018 in two different rounds, starting from the fourth week of June 2018. Qualified candidates who meet the cutoff will have to fill the admission form (Form-B) to participate in Assam CEE 2018 counselling. The form has to be submitted at the time of Assam CEE counselling 2018. A counselling fee of Rs. 600 has to be paid during the interview round. Candidates must produce necessary documents along with self-attested photocopies of the same during Assam CEE counselling 2018.


Assam CEE Seat Allotment 2018

DTE will conduct the seat allotment of Assam CEE 2018 in three rounds from the second week of June 2018. After every round of Assam CEE 2018 seat allotment, the number of vacant seats available will be displayed online. Assam CEE seat allotment 2018 will depend on factors such as ranks obtained by candidates, number of seats available and number of candidates appearing in the exam among others.
