BCECE Application Form 2018BCECE Application Form 2018: The online application form of BCECE 2018 will be released by Bihar Common Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) in the second week of February 2018. Candidates can fill the BCECE 2018 application form till the first week of March following which the correction window will open in the second week of March 2018. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of BCECE 2018 before filling the application form of BCECE . Candidates have to register themselves and pay the requisite application fee before filling the BCECE 2018 application form. The application procedure further involves entering personal information, uploading images, entering educational details and finally printout and dispatch of the application form of BCECE 2018. As per BCECE eligibility criteria 2018, candidates who have appeared or passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with 45% (40% for reserved categories) are eligible to appear in BCECE 2018. Based on BCECE results, nearly 3000 seats were filled in around 14 participating institutes last year. BCECE 2018 Application Form Documents  - Requirement

Candidates must be ready with the following particulars before filling the application form.

  • Valid email ID
  • Valid mobile number
  • Scanned copy of candidate’s recent passport sized photograph
  • Scanned copy of candidate’s full signature (both Hindi and English) done on plain white sheet
  • Bank account details for making payment via net banking or credit/ debit card

BCECE Application Form 2018 - Application Procedure

After filling the application form, candidates will have to take a printout of the same and send the hard copy to BCECE Board. To fill the BCECE application form 2018, candidates have to follow the given steps in order.

Step 1: Registration

After reading the instructions on screen, candidates have to click on ‘proceed to registration’ and select the course applying for. After this, they have to fill in the following details.

Note: The password must be 8-13 characters long and must contain at least one upper case and one lower case character, one numeric value and one special character.

After filling the details in BCECE application form 2018, candidates have to click on ‘Submit’ button after which the registration number will be displayed on screen. The registration number will also be sent via SMS to the candidate’s mobile number. Candidates will then have to login using the registration number and password to proceed to the “Payment” option.

Step 2: Payment of application fee

Candidates can pay the BCECE 2018 application fee through e-challan and deposit the fees at any Canara Bank or pay online via debit/credit/ card or net banking. Applicants have to pay an additional amount of Rs. 60 if paying via e-challan. The bank will retain their copy of the three part challan and return the board copy and the candidate’s copy to the candidate, which must be retained safely by the candidate.

Note: Candidates must note down the ‘payment reference number’ generated on the screen before payment and the ‘transaction ID’ generated after successful payment for future reference.

Step 3: Entering personal information

After paying the application fee, candidates have to fill in their personal details in the BCECE application form 2018. The personal information section includes the following fields:

Step 4: Uploading images in BCECE application form

After clicking on ‘submit’, candidates will be redirected to the section where they have to upload scanned copy of their passport sized photograph and signature (both Hindi and English). Once all the details are entered, applicants will have to click on the ‘Submit’ button. The specifications regarding size and format of images to be uploaded are given below.

Step 5: Entering educational information

Further, candidates have to click on the ‘fill educational information’ and fill in the details of their class 10 and 12 examinations in the BCECE 2018 application form. They need not enter the details of the marks obtained in Qualifying Examination (QE) if its status is ‘appearing’. After this, applicants have to click on ‘submit’ button.

Step 6: Printout and dispatch of application form

One must preview all the details entered in the BCECE application form before final submission. Candidates have to take a printout of Part A and Part B of the application form and send it to BCECE Board along with the following documents::

  • Passport sized photograph of the candidate similar to the one uploaded in the application form.
  • Candidate’s signature both in Hindi and English in the space provided on each part of the form. The signature should be in running letters.
  • Photo copy of marksheets of relevant qualifying examination.
  • Candidates have to send the declaration as printed in part B, written in their own handwriting.
  • The paid challan copy of the board must be attached with the form.

The BCECE application form has to be enclosed in a yellow coloured envelope of dimensions 17 x 30 cm. Applicants must send the form of BCECE 2018 along with the necessary documents only via Registered/ Speed Post to the address given below:

BCECE Application Form 2018 - Correction Window

The correction window of BCECE 2018 application form will be opened for a couple of days in the second week of March 2018. Candidates can make necessary rectifications in the application form within the given period of time. Making changes in category and courses will not be allowed. Candidates must cross check all details before finally submitting the BCECE application form 2018 as no request for changes in the same will be entertained further to this.

BCECE 2018

BCECE is conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) for admissions to B.E./ B.Tech programmes offered by around 14 participating institutes. The state level examination and will be conducted in the offline mode in two stages of 600 and 1200 marks. Questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be covered in the examination. BCECE 2018 will facilitate admission to around 16 UG engineering courses and will fill nearly 3000 seats in member institutions.
